I have had enough turkey; I'm now waiting for the pie (pumpkin and apple).

ROFLMAO... I'll have some more turkey, please, but I'm reminded of something my DS had in Europe this past summer. At a restaurant in Germany, he ordered something called a "sausage salad", which turned out to be strips of shredded bologna on a plate! He said it was the one bad meal he had while he was there.

Ewwwww. I will admit, I don't hate bologna (all beef), but I wouldn't want it in a salad!

Good Morning Mrs P!

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. I'm sure you had your share of turkey ;-)

I know the selections we shared this year went together amazingly well ... a meal I won't soon forget.

Good Morning! I was quite pleased with the results of my efforts yesterday. The family very much enjoyed our dinner. I am laughing as they will be enjoying it again today as my kitchen is closed.

I am enjoying the comforts of home today and will not be joining the Black Friday shoppers. I may venture to Amazon and make a wish list but that will be the extent of my shopping.

Are you rested today?

I'm joining you in that avoidance of Black Friday, very relaxed, and feeling good about my day.

I was fortunate to be able to go elsewhere for Thanksgiving dinner this year. I was able to make most of the 5 items I took along on Wednesday ... making for a much calmer day overall.

Have you begun your holiday shopping? I'm running a bit behind there, but plan that it will all come together one way or another.

DW is going Black Friday shopping today, and I'll be taking DD to the pediatrician later this morning to make sure the sore throat she's come down with isn't strep throat.

I hope DD doesn't have strep, that's no fun for anyone.

Your DW is a trooper. Perhaps she's hoping for another one of those wonderful massages later today ;-)
