I made a mistake

I did a very dumb thing -- please spare me the lecturing because I am fully aware that I made stupid choices, but I can't take it back now.

I met up for a few drinks with a guy I've hung out with a few times. But because I had eaten dinner so early that night, those few drinks hit me hard. I couldn't drive so we left my car in the city and I had my friend's apartment keys in case I wanted to stay there anyway to be closer to work in the morning (friend was away at the time). So he drove us back to the apartment and I'm pretty sure I passed out because I was so drunk. I'm so sure nothing happened but suddenly I've gotten myself paranoid.

I started thinking of the signs that would let me know something had happened, but nothing hurt (and it's been a while since I've had sex so I'm thinking it would have hurt had we slept together), there wasn't any noticeable wetness, and we were still dressed in the morning. It's been more than 3 days and I'm only just starting to freak out. I know I messed up but am I just being paranoid? Thanks..

1. YOu made a mistake.....guess what, that shows you're a human being. We all make them.

2. It's highly unlikely that anything happened....there would be telltale signs, plus you were both fully dressed in the morning. More than likely one or both of you had PLANS, but you were both so out of it that you passed out.

3. Let that be a lesson, do NOT drink on an empty stomach......even if you just have to load up on bar food, peanuts, etc.

Thank you! I feel so much better having reassurance from someone else! Definitely a lesson! In the future that will be a good reason for me to eat again :)

I would say you are pretty safe to assume that nothing happened too. A guy would never be able to get your clothes back on you right. They would be more than a little rumpled!

I would like to commend you for not driving your car when you were drunk. I think you are being too hard on yourself. We all have made stupid choices, but given the circumstances, you did the right thing by allowing him to drive you.

Close still on I don't think anything happened.
I wouldn't worry at all. Being drunk and all if yall
did do something I don't think he would of put your clothes
back on. Nope just don't think so. Wouldn't worry if i were you.
You made a good choice to let him take you home not a bad one.
Ease up on your self.

Welcome to the board girlnextdoor.

I agree with the other members -- it doesn't sound likely that anything happened. Still having your clothes on, is usually a good sign that they stayed on ;-)
