Instead Cup!!!!

Alright....it is my 18th birthday this Friday, and my boyfriend has rented me and him a jacuzzi (sp?) suite at a hotel!!! It's just one of the wonderful things he has planned for me that day.
My problem is, Friday the 10th just happens to be the first day of my period (cries..)
and I BELIEVE that making love is one of the special things he had planned.
The deal is, I just ordered a box of the instead cups online, and was wondering if, as far as sex is concerned, are there any positions that you're limited to? How much of a chance that it will break? Leak? Anyone have any suggestions or advice about this product? I want to make sure that I use them correctly so I can have a wonderful evening with my boyfriend :o) Thank you!

I don't have any experience with them but have heard they work well.
Thats all I ever use anymore for that time of the month, and my husband and I don't abstain from sexual relations anymore during that time.Aside from limited positions,I don't think there are any...though I've always tried to not be on top during my period.Just make sure you insert it right beforehand, because the longer you keep it in,the more it will fill up and possibly leak.As far as tearing or breaking, they are pretty sturdy.
Also, like the poster above said...they are NOT a contraceptive, and if you are uncertain as to when exactly you ovulate, you need to use a form of birthcontrol.Of course,it also doesn't protect you from STD's...so condoms would be good as well.
I have another question for you as someone who's used them. Did your partner ever feel the cup inside of you? Does it matter what size your partner is to know if he'd feel it?
(thanks for your replies!)
