Introducing Myself

Hi everyone. I want to introduce myself since I did post a question down below!

I am 23, married for 3 years (in a few weeks), and I have a 15 month old daughter. I used to work fulltime and go to college fulltime, but since I have had my daughter - I have graduated college and became a stay at home mom! It is really funny how things work out sometimes, huh?

WELCOME ABOARD, Luv!

...and YES it IS funny how things work out. I'm trying to finish college myself, AND I've wanted a baby of my own...ahem...but I kinda do either within reason right now:

The business careers I initially started college for are the very careers I accidentally landed permaturely anyway, so these career schedules are now narrowing my avenue of education that I needed to get these very careers that I already have. LOL!!! (sigh..help me...)

May I guess that you just might be the type who wants to stay active, career-wise? Any thoughts/ideas about a home-based business? OR, did you have any thoughts on returning to the career world once your daughter is old enough for possibly day-care? You've accomplished at your age what I'm STILL trying to accomplish at mine, so maybe theres even more pointers I can get here, lol.

I have been soooo trying to figure out something to do with myself (career-wise)! I had a good job while in college (although I worked 40+ a week) and I worked there for 5 years up until the day I had my daughter and the entire time I was in college. I got a lot of experience in a lot of different areas. It was great. I have thought of going back there and I know they would probably jump at the chance to take me back since they have yet to find someone to entirely take on my old job(s), but I can't stand to leave my girl. It is very hard to trust someone else to watch her and take of her like I do, ya know? It makes me tear up thinking of someone else enjoying her as much as I do. There are sooo many jobs I have found that I could probably get and it would be awesome, but I just can't do it yet... My DH owns a home improvements company that we run out of our home, so I do that with him (very little for me to do though, the books and answering the phone and that's about it!), but other than that I don't do much...at all, lol...

Is it safe to calculate that you may have a type A personality? Lol! Your career line-up prior to the little one sounds just like my wife too. She already demoted down from a corporate position earlier this year for the sole purpose of less travel away from home.

(I think she likes me)

We hear ya loud and clear on surrendering your daughter to some other form of child care. She & I haven't chewed enough fingernails thinking about that all the time. We know its inevitable, but if there's a way we could settle with shorter hours somehow instead of 50+ per week (each) all the time, then that'd be a big boost to getting us started.

Enjoy the message boards, they've helped me quite a bit.
