I'm LOL at the way you wrote your post, Diana, because it came across as being really funny. Hopefully it won't bug you as much now that you've *blown* about it to us, lol.

Not during sex, he doesn't do things that bug me like that, but other times? OMG yes! He's a twitcher and doesn't stay still, tapping his fingers against his coffee cup, jiggling his leg, tapping a finger against his teeth. The one against the teeth makes me crazy, especially if we're on the phone and I can hear him doing it - tap, tap, tap, amplified by the phone and he's trying to talk to me at the same time. Or he keeps his hands in front of his mouth and then speaks, can't make out a darn thing he says.

Oh and we've been married for 20 years, but have known each other for 33, long story. He's always done these things, since I first met him.

Sometimes, just as my orgasm is finishing, she'll start talking to me in a regular everyday conversational tone about "That was good, wasn't it?", was it good for me?, you came hard didn't you?, that was so sexy, etc.
So here I am just riding the last waves of pleasure and orgasm and she starts discussing the sex before it's even finished. Talk about throwing a bucket of cold water onto you at the end.

I know that she has the best intentions but I'm usually incapable of thinking clearly, let alone saying anything and I can't handle the timing and the matter-of-fact conversational tone that she uses. Unfortunately, I have been guilty of snapping and gasping a reply of "Just shut up for a minute, would you!" in the past. I've also talked to her about it but sometimes she just can't help herself :-)

Totally off topic here, Westridge, but since you're able to have an orgasm that lasts long enough to be interrupted by conversation, I really think you need to report that in this thread. Evidently, there are studies going on to indicate that men are missing something on the orgasm bus ....

The descriptions are very funny, Diana. I know if hubby has a substantial exhale in the near future, I'll be explaining my giggles, lol.

I'm laughing so hard, I think I'm going to cry. I think your post was really funny, not sure if you meant it to be. I can almost picture you saying "HE BLOWS!!"

Anyway, my bf and I have been together for 4 years (I hope we qualify, lol) and no he doesn't do anything that bugs me during sex. But the one thing that bugs me (and this can be after sex) is that he snores. It can be really loud sometimes. I might be drifting off to sleep and then I hear it (really loud) and I just want to punch him or kick him off the bed. LOL. It's not that bad, and he doesn't wake me when I'm already sleeping, but there are times when it's a bit harder to drift off to sleep if he's fallen asleep before me.

LOL! I don't know that my orgasm is lasting THAT long - it's just that she's pretty quick to jump to the conversation. You know, "Oh he's cumming. Great, I'll give him five seconds and then launch into a conversation about it with him". Whereas I'd prefer to have at least 20 seconds to have my orgasm, literally catch my breath and enjoy the warm fuzzies for another 30 seconds or so, roll over, off or whatever. THEN we can start talking about it :-)
