OK! I ask alot of questions huh!?

* do women have sex when they are pregnant? Is the DH/SO turned on by that big round belly? =D What stage should a woman stop having sex when she's pregg? Is it bad to do it say 8 months along?

*sometimes I get a very sharp pain in my vagina, what could it be from? too much sex maybe?

*how much sex is too much sex? does having too much have any affect on your health?

Thanks! I'm sure I'll come up with more things to ask =D I just love these message boards!

how much sex is too much sex? i think there is such a thing as too much sex, even if it doesn't hurt your health. for me too much is when it gets in the way of other things in your life (work, school, friends, etc.). like with everything else, balance is key. i recall when i was young my boyfriend and i stayed in bed all day and had sex like ten times. i think that was excessive. by the end of the day it just felt over-indulgent. also, i have friends that get rampant sex drives if they aren't occupied and seem to use it to fill a void or get self worth. i would think more than a couple times a day on a regular basis is too much.

1. Yes. Women have sex up until delivery, if it's safe for them and they feel up to it. I had sex until I became too uncomfortable....about 8.5 mos.

2. My DH was never turned off my pregnant belly. He loves ME and was turned on by me throughout my pregnancies. There's much more to sex and arousal than what's below your neck and between your legs. Many couples become extremely intimate & close during pregnancy. It brings a new dimension to their sex life.

3. That sharp pain in your vagina could be related to ovulation or the hormonal fluctuations of your cycle...I get them, too. But if your partner is being too rough during sexual activity, the pains are are persistant and not just occasional, it could be damage & you should see your dr.

4.You're having too much sex if it's causing physical, emotional or financial damage to your life. Whether you have sex once a month or 10 times a day, if it meets your needs, you are happy, healthy & productive in other areas of your life, then it's not too much.
