Ok so I have finally considered doing anal sex with my boyfriend. Im not excited but im curious. Im really really embarrased about this question and im trying to make it not sound gross but here it goes ... I know that when having anal sex you have to loosen up and not be tense and he has to go really slow with lots of lube .. if he doesnt go slow enough or if there isnt enough lube and he pulls out .. can he ( blushing, embarrased face ) pull out your rectum. Is that a myth or can it really happen because thats what someone told me. And now im nervous .. i like my butt the way it is !

Your rectum cannot be pulled out. You need to stop listening to people who don't have a clue what they're talking about.

Your rectum can fall out, it's called a prolapsed rectum, and that's due to weakened muscles and veins. It's a painful condition, but it is NOT caused by anal sex. He can tear you, but he can't pull it out.

there are lubes available specifically formulated for anal sex. They are ticker consistency than K-Y and the other vaginal lubes. Try a sex shop such as www.arentwenaughty.com

Any kind of lube made for sex will work, KY, Astroglide, etc.

The lube is great, and you will probably need it. But the most important thing is that you be relaxed. You are going to be tense the first time because it's new to you. Let yourself relax and MAKE SURE that he respects your right to say stop. If you are too tense, it will be painful and you will probably tell him to stop more than once. It may take more than a couple of attempts at it before you are totally comfortable with it. But if he listens and is gentle, it can eventually be nice for you both.

Great replies! Since these would be your first experiences with it, then it certainly wouldn't hurt to check out a couple of IVillage articles about it all. They've been SUPER helpful to many out there, so take a moment to read 'em:
