Over on the **1,000 Nights of Great Sex** thread, we started a little "Pouters Club", and some of us have decided we should have a party tonight. (ETA: We now have our own clubhouse, and the party never ends! Everyone's invivted, so feel free to join in anytime!)

Or maybe it's my memory failing on me again, LOL.

Hopefully the meds will knock it into the next century for you!

I had a cold some time back, and I still have an annoying cough from it, although I feel fine. Seems every couple of years, I get that type of cold, and the cough seems to last the entire season.

coffee Pictures, Images and Photos I have the day off and wanted to stop in and say hi and catch up! I miss having coffee with my friends here. I have set up an appointment on March 20th at a college here to get my associates degree in ASL and a teaching degree focusing on primary education with history being the subject I would like to teach. If all goes well, in Sept I will be moving about 2 hours south for 2 years then moving on to a University to get my bacholors degree. I'm so excited!!!! Keep your fingers crossed for me! I sound like an 18 year old fresh out of high school! LOL!!!

Wow, KD -- that all sounds great!

Do you think you would want to work with deaf students once you finish the program? There's so much need for that ... and you could come live near me! The Florida School for the Deaf & Blind is not too far away. Although the kids can live on the campus, many families move into the general vicinity so their kids can go to the school and still be at home with the parents on a regular basis.

Good to hear you got a day off too. Planning on doing anything special with it?

morning.

Can't take the scripted/recommended decongestants. Right on the box under the "not recommended for people with..." part is "Thyroid". :/

I had Mark pick up a Neti Pot while out b/c I had heard so many good things about them...thank goodness I did. They are awesome! Worked as well as the sudafed for opening up my nose so I could breathe...AND it uses only saline. I'd much rather use plain salt water than drugs if I can get the same effect (especially when the drugs tell me not to use them)

Soooo...Neti Pot and antibiotics til I get my recheck on Fri.

Hope you got to enjoy some time in the kitchen today, KD.

I think your school plan sounds great -- it's never too late to continue your education, and you're still young enough to make this career choice work! Best of luck with it ... I know you'll keep us posted along the way.

Glad you caught the warning on the med, and that you found something that would work.

My DH has sinus surgery a couple of years ago. Whenever he gets stuffy now, he uses a sinus rinse product from NeilMed Pharmaceuticals. They also make a Neti Pot ~ good to know they work well.

Yes the baking soda/salt pre-made rinse packets are from NeilMed. LOL.
