Kind of a funny question

This is a really ridiculous question, but I honestly want to know the answer. Could I be arrested for walking down the street in a bikini? Would that be, like, indecent exposure? I've always wondered that. (Don't worry, I wasn't planning on doing it! *hehe*)

I haven't been around the world to know these things first-hand, phatgenes, but by what I've been told from the dozens of military personnel I know through friends, work and family who travelled the lands, you are right on the button.

According to them, the rest of the world seems so relaxed about nudity compared to cultures like the US. What our culture considers soft porn is practically natural in so many other cultures. One of those ladies actually said its not what you have that makes it pornish, but its what you do with it, lol. Another said that it was simply a matter of how rich the religious impact has had on our society compared to others as well. Interesting and unique style of wisdom they gain along the way, LOL!

No matter what our own limited views are, I will always respect the less uninhibited views that those personnel teach me at times, LOL! God Bless them!! ;)

Hey, there's even a nude beach/resort in Maine! We saw an ad for it when went up in May. It would be ok in the summer......lol. But maybe they do a lot of table tennis in the winter!

When my former boss went to FL for a work-related conference, he took along his wife and 13 year old son. One day it was over at noon, so they all three hit the beach, which was top-alternative, although they didn't know it at the time. He was sitting in the sun with his eyes closed and suddenly his son started whispering loudly "Dad, hey dad! Dad! DAD!" He looked, and there was a topless woman walking by them to the snack bar. He said "I mean, *there* she was, in all her glory...just umm...bouncing along the beach. And I thought to myself 'Man, how lucky he is. I would have KILLED for an opportunity like this when I was 13!"

That's fine, but you said the US, so I thought perhaps you weren't aware that there *are* nude beaches here. And when you're on them, no one acts any different than on the nude beaches of Europe. When you're on a nude beach anywhere, it's...just a nude beach with naked bodies.

Absolutely agree, Yasmin. And they ARE available, they just aren't the norm here.

I, too, have been to the hawaiian islands several trips and there were lots of people in bathing suits walking around at the resorts. If you go into a restaurant at the resorts, a cover up is needed, but that's about it. What island did you go to? I love Hawaii.

>>In my experiences of nude or topless beaches, I've never seen a weirdo either. Therefore, the thought of deviates hanging around wouldn't occur to me.<<

10-4, Yas! Its so much more natural for areas/cultures like yours, but for cultures like ours in the US, it really is a big deal. Just depends on what culture one is brought up in, huh?

I have to wonder though, what is it like when an extremely attractive or even just a very busty lady or a hunky piece of man strolls down one of those beaches? According to the travellers' and military stories, EVERYbody looks, regardless the gender, LOL! Is that true down under as well or is it still considered nothing? Just curiosity. :)

All of them but mainly, Maui and Kaui. It's a wonderfully romantic place for couples, isn't it?

Yes it is. My girlfriend and I travel there at least twice a year among other places.
