Hi!

Just a quick question. My boyfriend and I have decided to use KY Jelly for the first time. I was just wondering if we're using it during intercourse and after that move to oral sex, is it okay to get the lube in your mouth? Or should you wash up before doing any oral sex?

Thanks a lot!

My wife and I use it during sex, because we are getting older and she needs more "wettness". However, you don't have to worry about getting it in your mouth since it has NO harsh ingredients. Some of them actually are flavored to make oral sex more enjoyable. Just go for it and enjoy!!

I'm not sure if KY makes a flavored version but if they do, definately pick that up.. Their regular, heated, and scented versions will taste really nasty.. So it would do well to get the "multi-purpose" kind.. the ones with flavor..

I personally would recommend something other than KY. After trying many kinds of lube over the years, Astroglide seems to be most like natural lube and it doesn't get sticky like KY. And it doesn't have a taste. I nearly always use a tissue to wipe off any excess though. But then, we typically start with oral and finish with intercourse anyway.

Funnily enough my partner and I had a brief discussion about KY flavours just a night or two ago. The KY Ultra Gel hasn't got the strong flavour that regular KY has.

I was just in that department at Target this morning and noticed a brand called 'Play' with a mint-flavored version.

kY jelly is water based and should not pose any issues.
