Does it matter what anyone else thinks? Including a guy? It serves no real purpose, it's just hair.

It isn't FOR anything. It's just one "style" that you can trim your pubic hair into the same way that you might dye the hair on your head, or wear it short or long. You could always choose another "style" and trim everything off, or leave it naturally styled and don't touch it at all.

Do guys like it? Some do, some don't, most really won't care too much about whatever you're doing with your pubic hair. Just like different hairstyles, shaving or waxing your pubic hair completely off seems to be the most talked about style at the moment. I wouoldn't think that there are that many that actually do it though. The landing strip has been around a long time. Give it another 12 months and everyone will probably talk about a different way of doing things.

Do what *you* want with your pubic hair. If you're not sure what to do, I think that you'd be pretty safe with a bit of a light trim all over and maybe tidying up the bikini line now and again. And if you're really concerned, ask the guy that your with what he likes and try that for a laugh. :-)

It's not for anything, it's just a grooming style for pubic hair that some women like, no different than how you style the hair on your head, do your make-up, how you dress, etc.

Most is just style and shape or design and maybe a different color. Some gals feel like a 8 year old with no hair at all. Me, I like totally smooth.

All posts thus far have addressed the subject in relation to females. What about changing gender to also include what females like on a man. Should public hair be shaped in a triangle, landing strip (rectangular), star, trimmed, bushy or hairless? What looks good to you? Is there any practicality in him being bald for BJ?

A landing strip would look a little strange on a man, IMO, but to each his own. LOL! My DH just keeps his well trimmed and that works for me. Completely bald looks odd.

Well for over a year now I have gone brazilian, I would never go back to any fur. DW didn't know what to think at first, now she likes me "Smooth" too. So guys, join the movement of going smooth and get waxed.

My DH just shook his head and said "Good for you, dude, but not in this lifetime!" LOL!

I've never trimmed a shape, but I keep well trimmed and shave the scrotum and base of the shaft. DW (and the g/f that originally requested that I trimmed) find that there are benefits when giving me a BJ - not as many hairs to worry about. And we both agree that the sensation of skin-to-skin contact during intercourse when we are both well trimmed and shaven is more intense. I feel tidier too. I've heard some say that it makes your penis look bigger but I've never noticed that myself and it isn't a reason that I do it.
I have shaved completely in the past but never liked the look and found the itchies etc outweighed any benefits so that's not something that I'd ever do regularly although I would try it again if requested.
