length of time between erections

After a man has an erection, how long does it usually take before he can have another one? Just a few minutes?

Also, I've heard that if a woman masturbates by rubbing their clitoris and doesn't insert her fingers in the vagina, she won't be able to have a vaginal orgasm when having sex with a man. Is there any truth to this? I tried to have a vaginal orgasm while masturbating but gave it up since nothing would come of it. I can't seem to have a vaginal orgasm with a guy either though. What's up with that?

I know that my DH has to recuperate for at least 30 minutes to an hour before we can make love again. That's on a good day. Sometimes we can't make love anymore that day. I am pretty sure every man is different though.

As far as having an orgasm while rubbing your clitoris. I have never had a problem with that. Even if I insert the fingers. I did notice that I have to rub mine a certain way in order to acheive an orgasm. Try exploring different rubbing techniques and I am pretty sure you will find one that suits your needs. I also have trouble coming to orgasm when I make love to DH. Some women are stimulated more through foreplay then they are when making love.

Hope that helps some!

The length of time between erections can vary from guy to guy, and from time to time. Things like tiredness and stress can affect him as can sexual activity, his libido, etc.. For some guys, it can be just a few minutes, for others it will be several minutes, hours or even days. Let us know if you would like advice to help him get another erection, or if you think he's getting too many erections -- then we know what direction to take this ;-)

This is a wives tale, or something the person telling you made up. Just not true! Women are much more likely to experience an orgasm through clitoral stimulation than vaginal penetration, but it has nothing to do with masturbation. There are less nerve endings in the vagina, thus there is less stimulation from penetration. The g-spot is located within the vagina, and can provide a very powerful (and different) orgasm.
