Thanks Danielle!

He sure is a keeper! He holds respect & trust as the greatest gift you can share with another person. Its so hard to give, and yet so hard to keep. So for him, male or female- doesnt make a difference.. I am his and he is mine. Hehehe i asked him if we were at a party, and say i had a little too much to drink, and he happen to see me kissing another female.. Would you get just as upset if i was kissing a guy? And he said yes probably..

Haha!

So guys out there, if you and your woman are committed to one another and do not have an open relationship, would you be just as upset if you caught your wife/gf making out with another female, as if it was a male?

- This has sort of happened to me. I was dating a girl who used to sleep in the same bed as her housemate (I knew that before we went out) and later she made out with some "hot blonde girl" while waiting at an ATM outside a bar. It didn't even occur to me to be upset. I thought it was kinda cool. I don't think that it is the same as cheating with another guy at all. I'm not sure why, it just doesn't really seem to phase me. I would only be concerned if I thought that my (previous or hypothetical) partner would end the relationship over it. I think that may have happened with this girl, I have a strong suspicion that she was pretty far towards the lesbian end of the spectrum but was trying to stay in the closet. WHatever was going on, nothing could have saved that relationship, lol, she was psycho.

Phatgenes if you don't believe my poll and 80% estimate there are a lot of other polls on i-village and women.com that say the same thing. A search on Google on the topic (% of women that are bi-curious) will yield stories that put the percent of interest in the 90% range. This is not to please guys WOMEN ARE JUST INTO WOMEN. For those of you that are not THAN GOD but you are in the minority.

<<"there are a lot of other polls on i-village and women.com that say the same thing">>

IMO, the women who are answering the polls are voting honestly but, you have to remember that the women who read these boards, and take part in these polls, are not likely to be an accurate representation of the entire population.

With that said, I do think that these polls do show that many many women (likely a large percentage) are bi-curious but it think that most do not act on that cuoriosity.

I am not a guy but I did have this experience,

At a New Years Eve Party (years ago) we got really drunk with a bunch of friends and had everyone sleep over. Everyone else (including DH) was sleeping except myself and a female friend. Suddenly she began kissing me. I was totally shocked and stopped it right away.

When I told Dh what had happend the next morning he said sorta jokingly "OH!, you should have both joined me in bed" He deinitley has a threesome fantasy. I found out that night that although I may rarely fantasise about being with another woman I would never want to act on it.

So. I just asked him if he would be jealous or turned if he caught me making out with a woman. He said It would depend on the situiation. If it was decitfull and an emotional affair he would be jealous but If it was for his pleasure he would be excited.

I am sure his answer was influenced by the fact that lifelong friends of his are getting divorced after 15 years because the wife is in a relationship with another woman. Needless to say her friends and family are shocked but she claims she is not "gay" it is just that she fell in love with another "person". (A whole different topic, sorry)

I just can't believe that 80% of women are lesbian, bi-sexual or bi curious. I asked my wife once whether she ever fantacised about making out with another woman and she said, "Definitly no". While she is only one woman, I still belive that the 80% number is way off.

I too believe the 80% is too high. If you're going by polls on sex message boards, that's not an accurate representation of the total population. It may be representative of those that frequent those boards, but those tend to be women who are younger, a bit more adventurous sexually, and those with access to a computer. That leaves out a *lot* of women.

In order to get an accurate #, you would need to individually poll many, MANY women personally, from all age groups, social backgrounds, settings, and countries. For instance, maybe in cities (this is just an example) there is more bi-adventures than there are in a rural setting, more young women willing to make out or get physical with another woman. There may be more of that on the coasts than there are in the Midwest. There may be more of it on college campuses than elsewhere. You'd also have to poll older women, not just 20somethings.

I dunno, I look around at most of the women I know personally and I think I can safely say that sex with another woman, even one time, is not something they even remotely think about.

Danielle the same thing happen to one the guys I work with. They had been married a number of years, 3 children, marriage wasn't working and he was trying to get it fixed through counceling and it wasn't working and finally his wife admitted that she had been in a 2 year affair with another woman. I know that there are gay men but I think that the numbers reflect the sexual orentation of the 16 to 40 age group of women. If the information is gathered in a way that the women feel safe in expressing their true opinion and no one will find out what they really think.

I am glad some women are into men or we would be an endangered species.
