Here's how things work:

- Members can reply to this thread and ask you questions about anything -- sex, life, the weather, just anything!

- You can plead the 5th and not answer a question if you feel it is too personal.

- You can ask a question of any member that has asked you a question in your reply to them.

- When members reply to the question you have asked of them, they will reply on this thread too.

- Members can ask you questions more than one time.

- Remember, this is for fun, so let’s be kind to each other.

Attention Members: If you are interested in having your own turn to be "talked about", just visit this thread and sign up to join in the fun:

) Do you have any regrets in life that if you could you would go back and change?

I think just about everyone has some sort of a regret over the course of their life. Mine seem to center around things I let pass by me without giving them a chance. While I can't go back and change them....neither do I intend to do so in the future.

2) If you could meet one person either past or present that you would love to have a sit down and talk with, who would they be (no names needed), and what topics would you like to discuss.

My great grandmother. This woman came to the US from Eastern Europe, steerage, didn't speak a word of English, yet managed to raise three gifted and intelligent daughters...one of them my mother's mother. I would want to meet her and just talk about her life and her unacknowledged accomplishments.

3) Knowing how life can change at the blink of an eye, what things would you feel that at one time were very important, but looking on it now you say to yourself, "you know..so what".

I do know about life changing in a blink of an eye....and I have been saying a lot of "so what's" lately. I say so what to my local newspaper, the ladies at work who insist on spreading the latest "gossip", getting stuck behind a garbage truck when I have to be somewhere, spilled milk, mud in the foyer, wrinkles on my skin, grey hair, rainy days and a host of other things. I think you will get the picture...so what to life's little annoyances...

4) If you could write a book about your life as it stands now, what would the

title be and why.

My book would be titled, "Mrs P...a Work In Progress" As an individual...I am a work in progress. I would hate to think this is all there is...

5) If you could live out your ultimate fantasy what would you like to do.

I would like to pack my bags and spend a month with my DH in a villa on the coast of Sicily. We would spend our days doing as we pleased, enjoying each other and having the kind of passionate sex we did when we were first married.

6) Did you ever think that when you first started posting here on the boards, you would have made

Hello, Mrs. P,

I resurrected this thread to introduce myself. It seemed the polite thing to do, so if I reply to one of your posts it won't be from a complete stranger. (And I infer from reading some of your messages that Mrs. P does appreciate a polite gesture!)

As you can see from my signature, my name is Em. I happened upon the Village a few months ago and have become a fairly regular poster on some of these boards. I do hope to see you around soon...

Em
