Lingering Smell

Recently I started being intimate with a man, after 4 years of abstinence. I take good care of myself, and he has never complained about my female scent (regarding it being too strong or smelly). The problem is that my "scent" stays on him all day, even though he'll shower and wash his hands several times. While this is a turn on for him, it makes him feel very self conscious. What can we do to help this issue?

Can YOU smell yourself on him? Frankly, I find this hard to believe. IF he washes, then there should be no lingering smell of you or sex on his body. Maybe he has issues with cleanliness or germs.

Honestly I do notice, but it's not all the time. It's usually only when we fool around within the few days after ending my period. Could that have something to do with it??? It's not an issue any other time.

You might want to wash a little more carefully (not douche, just clean more carefully) after your period ends or have him wear a condom, if he finds it offensive.

Not sure what else you can do, safely, other than drink more water which will keep your body flushed of toxins, that would make any difference though. Your hormones determine your natural scent and there's not much you can do to alter those without a dr.s involvement. This will probably resolve itself over time anyway.

You might try using a scented or flavored lubricant that might mask your temporarily stronger scent.
