If a man can maintain his erection for 5 minutes without getting soft or fall down is normal? Is there any chance for a man to maintain the erection for a longer period, example for 10 or 20 minutes?

Are you talking about after ejaculation?

There's no "normal". Most men can maintain their erection until they ejaculate. How long that takes to happen is different for every man. Some men can train themselves to hold back their ejaculation, so they'll stay erect longer. But, that's up to the man to practice and learn that.

If the problem you have is that he is finished before you have had your pleasure, then he should give you more oral and manual foreplay until you ARE satisfied, then he can go on to intercourse and get HIS satisfaction.

Most women need lots of foreplay.....and if they get that, they will have their satisfaction, maybe several orgasms, and then 5 minutes of intercourse would be just fine.

For most women, sexual satisfaction comes from the foreplay because their clitoris is their main sexual organ, not their vagina. There is very little feeling inside the vagina, and even during intercourse, one or the other of you should be stimulating the clitoris for more pleasure. Using various positions, such as woman on top will give the woman more pleasure, too.....because her clitoris is grinding against him when she's on top.

If I'm not mistaken (thinking back to previous posts), Muthup is a male.

My experience of men and their erections is as varied as the men. There seem to be males who can keep themselves erect for ages, while there are others for whom it is a lot more work. Part of the job of a good lover is to be able to help her man stay hard and responsive. Elaine

A healthy man should be able to keep one for as long as he wants.

age, medications, health issues contribute to the firmness or the hardness of erections, as to how long? well with dh if i have given him a lot of fopreplay gotten him aroused and teased him even sexual talk, also when he ejaculated last, once we get started he will not last very long a few times he could not get inside me shot on my thighs pubic area. normally while inside me about 5-10 minutes. then if i get him hard again this time 20 minutes. after the second time he can go on and on stay hard and not shoot i get sore and tired. dh is 53 his he gets hard but not as firm he is ashamed to ask for viagra, i asked our family doctor, gave a smaple script of 6, 1st time we used it he did not feel any diff.

I'll just add that if it's NOT during intercourse, then the erection can often subside while his attention is directed elsewhere - for example, if he's performing oral sex or fondling/touching you. It's simply a matter of his mind being elsewhere and his penis not getting any attention. It should spring back into action when it gets more attention though.

kate,
If he hasn't yet, try it again. I had the same issue with it doing nothing the first time. After asking others who have used it, I learned that this is the case with a lot of men. It doesn't work the first time..but will from 2nd on.
