A friend of my dd's got his lip pierced about a month ago. What made this attractive young man do this, I will never know. BUT after a month of interviewing for part-time work and being turned down over and over again. he took it out and the very next job interview they offered him work. Coincidence or not?
I'm not against piercings, but I do like to see them be tasteful. Ears, on either sex, don't bother me. As far as private parts, never seen any of those pierced so I can't say whether I would or wouldn't like it. I do think I would have a fear of hurting my partner if they were pierced though. I've had my own ears ripped before, and I can't imagine that feeling good on a penis or clit!
I'm not fond of seeing parts of faces pierced, sometimes it just looks like it pulls and distorts the skin (like on an eyebrow). Maybe a piercing on the side of the nose, I've see some of those that were at least a bit appealing.
Since tattoos came up .... I love interesting tattoos. Unfortunately, for every great tattoo I've ever seen, I've seen 2 not so great tattoos. I'm not so fond of the "not so great" tattoos. I do like that tattoos don't alter your body shape. Being able to express yourself only when appropriate is something that I support. I don't want to have my dentist or doctor sporting bad tattoos and facial piercings (as an example).
I recently had a conversation with a very pretty 30 year old single woman who informed me she had been out of work for the past six months. She has a teaching degree and was laid off from a business school where she had been employed. She told me she had put numerous applications in and had had several interviews, but had no luck. What I couldn't help to notice was the ring she had installed in her lower lip. In fact, it detracted from her overall beauty to the point that I feel she is blocking any potential jobs by wearing it to her interviews. Of course, when I mentioned it, I was told to mind my own business.
Different strokes for different folks. Piercing or tattoo wouldn't make as much of a difference to me as their attitudes would, who they are, what they stand for.
"Guys, if you have any, do your friends; approve; disapprove?" Have any friends? lol jk. I'm a girl and I love piercings and tattoos. To each their own, though. I know my older sister and brother do not like them, and neither does my Mom. My two younger sisters feel the same about them as I do.
Ears? As long as there aren't too many rings in the ears, I love it. Especially spacers or those wooden ornaments. Very sexy.
Eyebrow? I am not against them, but they don't generally do much for me.
Tongue? I like tongue rings as long as the person who has it doesn't tap their teeth with it. But, just based on looks, yes, it is very sexy to me.
Nipples? My BF has his left nipple pierced and he's got a ring in it. He once talked about taking it out and letting it close and I begged him not to. I like them.
Penis? These are the sexiest piercings on a man, IMO. I mean, as long as it doesn't make a cage or big holes in the skin. I think a single piercing is always sexy and 2 or 3 bars up the shaft are very hot, but if your pants jingle like change, that's not so hot.
Any other places? My favorite piercing on the face is the labret with a small spike stud. Rings in the lips can be sexy, too, but they have to sit well on the lips.

I see nothing exciting, glamorous or sexy in body piercings.

Guess I am not alone in that
I personally look at piercings as body art, the same way I see tattoos, the artist in me talking.
