Men and women think differently.

There's an ad on TV that I've seen several times recently. It's for a national jewelry store chain. It starts with a woman sitting alone in her home on Christmas Eve. She was phoned by her man to inform her that a major snow storm might prevent him from getting home tonight. She hears the sound of a vehicle, and it turns out to be a snowplow that stops in front of her house. She looks out the window, and the man descends from the plow, having obviously moved heaven and earth to get home to her. They embrace, she looks at him with loving eyes, he gives her a gift of jewelry, and they hug again.
I'll bet most women think: "How romantic." As a guy, I was thinking: "He's going to get laid tonight!" Am I right, or do some of you think differently from what I expect for your gender?

<< As long as women hear men calling women who have more partners than they deem "respectable" sluts, then men's choices, will control women's choices. >>
"I don't see why this is any more than women control men. As long as young women prefer jerks over nice guys, girls are pressuring lads into being slicker players."
So two wrongs make a right?
<< Imagine, a woman doing whatever the heck she pleases sexually, just like a man without being labeled a slut or not being considered relationship worthy by men? >>
"I think most women are rather content with society as it is."
Really? You think that women wouldn't want to be treated the same way as men with respect to sexuality? They like being called sluts for having casual sex just like them?
<< So even if more men were into this than women, what does that prove? >>
"Contradicts the conspiracy theory that men are terrified of women's sexuality, as katmandoo suggested. Not only does male porn depict voracious women, but plenty of men want one in real life too!!"
Kat wasn't referring to a women's sexuality(in other words men wouldn't prefer an inhibited woman over a sexual one), what she was referring to is what I was referring to...."controlling women's sexuality within society." Again, porn is fantasy. I don't know many men who(includling Howard Stern), who would want to marry a woman who is a porn star. Normal women can be voracious without being with five men at the same time and drinking loads of semen. Or do you disagree with that? ;-)
<< Oh, and one more question....do you see men who are into cuckolding/hotwifing as more sexual than men who aren't? >>
"I already said that I don't think people who are into fetishes are more sexual. I wonder what sort of attention you're paying."
Well...we're kind of all over the place. Between sexual and more sexual, normal and abnormal...it's understandable. tee hee
One more thought:
That quote: "Men want a lady in public and a whore in the bedroom" is offensive. For the record, normal healthy NON-PORN(or non-prostitutes)women can be wild-voracious-insatiable women in the bedroom. It's time that the times caught up with that concept. Didn't one of the rappers do just that...."....a lady in public and a freak in bed." ;-)
It's a shame that women desiring sex is such a strange thing for some men to believe. But I'm certainly not the first woman my DH met who had a libido! Many women came onto him and tried to get him to give it up before he was ready. So, he wasn't surprised that I had a stronger drive than he did, he expected it.
But frankly, I'm glad I'm NOT insatiable...that would be nymphomania. No, I enjoy being satisfied. WELL and OFTEN! LOL!
