Men and women think differently.

There's an ad on TV that I've seen several times recently. It's for a national jewelry store chain. It starts with a woman sitting alone in her home on Christmas Eve. She was phoned by her man to inform her that a major snow storm might prevent him from getting home tonight. She hears the sound of a vehicle, and it turns out to be a snowplow that stops in front of her house. She looks out the window, and the man descends from the plow, having obviously moved heaven and earth to get home to her. They embrace, she looks at him with loving eyes, he gives her a gift of jewelry, and they hug again.
I'll bet most women think: "How romantic." As a guy, I was thinking: "He's going to get laid tonight!" Am I right, or do some of you think differently from what I expect for your gender?

As far as the sex industry being geared towards men. Again, porn is just another form of fantasy. My theory is that men are just lazy and can't(or choose not to) use their imaginations. ;-) Women are masters at creating their own fantasies and actually prefer them to porn.
Strip joints? Have you ever been inside of a male strip joint? It's hillarious....not anything near arousing. Men gyrating and dancing(nuff said... ;-). I have my own fantasy male strip joint idea and believe me, it's nothing like those that are out there now. They should really ask women what turns them on...not try and put up a sorely replica of a female strip joint.
Prostitution? Women don't need it; and even if they did, I doubt they'd use them. I think that most women would rather masturbate than be with a man who was only having sex with them for money.
What I've been trying to say, is that women have strong sex drives, but they may not act on it for many reasons. Just becuase one sex chooses to be aggressive about their drive, and the other chooses to be passive, doesn't mean that the passive party's drive is less than the aggressor's. The passives simply channel it differently. I have a high sex drive--always have. I have some form of sex every day, and it's pretty much been that way for most of my adult life. If I don't have sex, I masturbate. Sometimes it's more, sometimes, it's less, but I average once a day. Oh, and during masturbation my preferred method of fantasy is my own imagination. With all of the porn right at my fingertips, I prefer to fantasize.
I think that women are just more picky and discretional when it comes to actually having sex with a live person. That's the main difference. But again, that, in and of itself, doesn't translate to men having a higher sex drive than women. It just means that they express it differently.
"I would think that having your package grabbed is a good indication of your desires, wouldn't you?"
I would have to agree. On which planet does that actually happen?

>>>>>Nope. Nothing mysterious or subtle with me either. I would think that having your package grabbed is a good indication of your desires, wouldn't you?<<<<
Totally agree! But in saying that it's a technique reserved only for my SO lol. Definitely wouldn't make my intentions known like that in a bar if I were single.

Well, you're talking Steve Martin here, is it any wonder he would have that quote??
