Men who stay hard after sex?
| Fri, 07-16-2004 - 2:46pm |
Hi,
I’m new to the boards and I have a questions for the ladies and gentlemen. I’m a married 39 year old male with a unusual situation. Ever since I was young, I stay hard after sex. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes to go down. If I keep going, it doesn’t go down until after I cum again. I’m not complaining and my wife loves this little gift. My question is, are there other men out there like me? I haven’t discussed this with any of my male friends. My wife has brought it up to her female friends and it sounds like I’m in the minority.
Am I alone?

Its not a condition that occurs at any time, but only when the Mrs. & I are really at it. Remember, it is extremely rare, happens maybe 3-5 throughout the whole calendar year, so it hardly ever happens.
Trust me on something else sir, if you had these symptoms, you honest to goodness would NOT be walking around in and excited state, LOL!! It'd hurt too much to even get up and walk around after being erect for over 2 hours, and thats being beyond what you 'thought' was fully erect at that, LOL!!
Thankfully its not too common among us men, but some of us catch a glimpse of it here and there. Docs have always docked me as normal and completely healthy and functional. So what I've been doing this past year was documenting every single thing around any time that it actually does happen so I can better determine what to avoid.
So far, not a dang clue! :(

You are such an inspiration. I think I'm doing pretty good with our lovelife at 52, but you are utterly awesome at 74, and with your wife of 50+ years.
What's your secret? You must take good care of yourself, huh? Diet, exercise, good attitude? All this stuff about Viagra. My opinion is since all Viagra does is increase blood flow, that some cadio-vascular exercise to improve circulation would probably do as well as a pill, without the side effects.
BTW, just an update on me, DF is now DW.

Her thought all along was the workload, believe it or not. She notices my increased schedule whenever "it" actually happens. Any thought?

I have 2 unmarried brothers, but there's no way in hell I'm going to bring up this subject with them! :)
The one thing that a cl mentioned on the How to Have Better Sex message board was my noticing the differences between the erections I've had from time to time. In that discussion, we were talking about slightly differing lengths every now and then, including rigidity and thickness.........believe it or not. Not major differences.
Anyway, THIS question you have about the amount of "up" time is just as curious. There actually ARE times when I'm up without any physical stimulation and within less than a minute. Other times I need some "help" sorta speak and it may take as many as a couple minutes. Now that you mention it though, I've never had a problem getting "up" within 3 minutes tops and getting it to stay hard. That is, of course, unless I'm ill or on meds or whatever typically inhibits nomal sex drive.
I wonder now too just what the "supposed" average may be for an average man. Yes we're all different, but I wonder anyway. Hmmm...

I'm a Bible-fearing man, gigi, and I can honestly say that not even I made it that far! LOL!!! We ended up getting married anyway, but still! :D
This in no way takes away any honor toward other relationships at all, but the Mrs. & I just cannot resist patting you on the back for being such a true gentleman. DANG, why can't we billboard this?! LOL!!! Oh well.
