For Men: Would you wear a G-String?

Hi everyone. I have been dating my wonderful boyfriend for over a year. The ONLY thing that bothers me about him is that occasionally, he wears a g-string. Is this normal? Would any of the men out there wear a g-string? How many women have dated men who wear this? It is kinda of disturbing to me. Thanks for the advice!

Yep. They sell 'em, so there must be guys out there that wear 'em. In my experience, it seems to be guys that think they're pretty hot and/or in good shape that wear them. It's all about showing the buns at the back and the bulge at the front, you see.... The only time that I'd wear one is in the bedroom if my DW wanted me to. Other than that, you won't see me in one. Ewwww! ;-)

I've gotta ask - why does his occasional choice in underwear disturb you?

There used be this rather strange grown up cartoon called the oblongs.

In one episode for some reason the son was dressing as girl. And there was this classic moment when hs is complaining and mom sagely tells him:

"Learn to accept the thong"

Because I associate thongs/g-strings on men with strippers and gay men and it just sorta freaks me out. Would it freak you out if your man donned one of these? Maybe I am just overreacting, thats why I posted, to see what others think about men in thongs.

I don't think I'd care either way, to be honest. Now I can't imagine *why* anyone wants to wear one (lol) as they are uncomfortable, but I guess if women can get used to underwires, you can get used to anything!

Seriously though, it wouldn't bother me. I like to vary my underthings, and I know that wearing a sexy pair of panties makes me feel good for *me*, even if no one else knows I have them on. Guys have even less variety than we do, in terms of clothing. If he likes 'em, let it go. I'd be interested in seeing my Dh in a pair, although I'm sure that's never gonna happen!

Im not bothered by the g-string thing either. My body piercer has a thong fetish.thats all he wears. at first I thought it was a little odd, cause Id never met a guy before that was into that. but after I got over the initial surprise I still thought he was sexy. and I still would have wanted to get him naked if I wasnt invoved w/ someone. anyway, thats just my 2cents. and if i were you i wouldnt worry about it. :-)

I am a 42 y/o male who has been married for over 12 years. I own several thongs and I regularly wear them. My DW likes the way that my buns look, and I feel better about myself sometimes when I wear them. I am not gay, or anything like that so ....

G-strings are uncomfortable. They give you infections... why the hassle?

Tally is right about something - there are SO few things for guys to wear to feel sexy, like a woman can buy wearing some particular lingerie. I have a couple thongs, and that's why I have them.

And in response to the infection/uncomfortable comment - they do not cause infections, and if they ARE uncomfortable, you proably have the wrong size!
