My first time... :)

My fiance' & I have been dating for over a year, and are going to be married in November. Until last Saturday, I was a virgin. If you're wondering why I waited so long, it was because I wanted to share my first time with my husband. Last Saturday, we got a little "excited" where it led up to us having sex for the first time. We tried a couple of positions; fun, but one particular one didn't seem to work for us. He wanted to try it with me on top, but somehow he kept slipping out...he's pretty wide, and a bit on the long side. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can keep him *inside* while I'm on top? We tried to separate times on Saturday, but with no luck. I've been waiting this long, so you can imagine that I'm a little eager to learn what to do...

When you're on top, don't attempt the same in and out movements that you're used to with him on top...it's just the wrong angle. No bouncing up and down on top.
Try staying close to his body and grinding in circles or back and forth on his pubic bone or the base of his erection for direct clitoral stimulation.
AND most importantly, ONLY one of you should move at a time until you are able to anticipate one another's movements more easily! That makes it less likely that he'll slip out.
This is YOUR position though, because you can move in the way that pleases you! Have fun, and remember, there is no wrong or right way to do anything sexually, just what works!
Thanks for the suggestions...
My main problem with this position was that I had a hard time (no pun intended...LOL), trying to keep him inside from the get go...I'll definitely try the tips you both offered.
if anyone else has any other suggestions on different things to do, please don't hesitate to offer them...

Thanks Katmandoo2001...I really appreciate your help.
I had another question, it sorta hurt when he was thrusting (not everytime he thrusted), does it normally hurt?
