Question, please help me!! I had sex with my boyfriend on Saturday- it was our first time together, and my first time ever. The first try didn't work out, i asked him to stop because it hurt to much- but then i felt really bad- i wanted to do it so bad, but it just hurt too much. We took about an hour and a half break time- just to talk and eat and hang out. Then we went back to my bedroom and decided to attempt again. It went better, it still hurt as much but decided to make it through. Then everything started feeling really good, and he put my legs over his shoulders and started going harder and harder- which was really hurting. He took my legs down but didn't thrust any lighter (i never said anything)- Anyways i have a question, we did this early saturday (23rd of july) evening and its monday and i'm still bleeding- is that normal, how long do most women bleed for? Should i go to the doctor? I dont know, i'm scared and don't have anyone to talk to please help. thanks!

Bleeding can last a few days but it all depends on the woman.

Afternoon, I copied below part of your comment to the young ones.
It is a real shame that this has to transpire today. It, is getting worst, instead of better. With the info that is on the net, you would think that they would be better informed, not like years ago. But this happens every day, that this arises. STD, is really climbing in all aspects. From Minor to Major.

To very frank, a lot need to see their doctor at a younger age that 18.It is really surprising at the age of some that have come in, with their parent. This is a saying
that is very true, "Don't wait till the horses are out, to shut the gate". Being a parent today, (as they both work) is a real job. If, you don't get their attention, EARLY, it is very hard to do at a later age. IT is a real shame.

Want to tell you, I have read a few of your replys to different ones, and want to say
you are a real asset to this board. You are well informed and give very good straight forward advise.

Keep up the wonderful informed comments.

Thanks..

Women should start seeing an ob/gyn at the age of 18 whether or not they are sexually active so make an appointment any way and discuss birth control with him/her while you are there if you haven't done so already. Female BC does not protect against STDs so your b/f will still have to use a condom if he's never been tested for STDs and does not know for a fact that he is clean, but female BC is more effective against preventing pregnancy than condoms are.

You are VERY Welcome. One of my nurses told me about this site, her remark was

"With your thinking, I believe you might be a big help."

I myself, am very interested in the younger generation, so I thought I would see what

the site had, or offered.

Thanks,
Doc
