My wife and Vampires

I sure some of you are thinking 'WTF' after reading my discussion title. It was the best way to get your attention.
First, a little background: I'm a 45-year-old male in a Southern city. My wife is 44, but she looks at least 10 years younger. We've been married 22 years, and we feel like we have a strong marriage. We have two kids in their older teens.
My wife is a dedicated bookreader - especially romance novels. She goes through at least two a week. She also science fiction. In the past few months, I noticed that her books had a common theme - vampires. I scanned through a few of those books, and they are very erotic - especially those written by Laurell K. Hamilton.
I'm not jealous or upset that she's reading these books. She can read anything she wants. I'm simply trying to understand the attraction my wife and other women have for vampires. I'd like to know more about it, and maybe I could incorporate that theme into future lovemaking sessions - well, something besides dressing up like vampire. (haha). Believe me, at 5-foot-8 and 225 pounds with a "beer gut," I don't think I'd be the ideal vampire. I get the feeling my wife likes those who are who's tall with dark hair and are physically fit.
I do know she likes being kissed and nibbled on down her neck - as if a vampire was going to take a bite out of her - by someone dancing or standing very close behind her. I saw this last year when she danced with another guy in a New Orleans club. I stepped outside to catch my breath after a few dances, and when I walked back into the club some handsome Latino guy had moved in and was dancing very closely behind my wife, kissing down her neck. Her right arm pulled back and with her right hand guided his head down her neck. She had never done this with me. After this went on for an hour on the floor, they took a break and I caught her attention to let her know I was back and she resumed dancing with me. I wasn't upset with her, just wondering what she was willing to do.
I'd like to hear your ideas and suggestions about how I can help make her passion for vampires a part of our sexual play and even enhance it. Or maybe should I just leave it alone and let her enjoy it by herself ... or with someone else?
