Hello, I used to post here a long time back, though it has been a few years...
Basically, a year ago I left my husband of three years. At the time that I left we had not had a good sex life for at least a year. But throughout our dating and marriage, I had a very high sex drive. Now, a year later, I have a boyfriend that I love very much, and he is absolutely amazing in bed...I mean, I never knew what I had been missing! The problem is, ever since we started seeing each other, I have not had much of a sex drive at all. I know that he is incredibly attractive and I love his body, but I rarely get all hot and bothered when I am around him or when I think about him. We have sex often, but I am usually not as interested as I want to be. I want to get my sex drive back, especially now that I can take advantage of it and have some real fun, but I don't know why it seems to have disappeared. Any suggestions on how I might be able to get it back?
Thanks again.

As Kendenrayne said, birth control can cause problems with your libido. I don't know your age, but menopause (at all its' stages) can also have a major impact on your drive, as can depression, certain medications, stress etc.
Usually in a new relationship, libido's run high. Since yours isn't I would recommend talking with your doctor to see if you can figure out a reason why you might not have as high of a libido as you think you should (or would like to).
