Too wild. Quick story, I have a friend who moved here a few years ago from Africa. We were talking about keeping hubbies happy and she asked me if I would take her to the Adult Store so she could buy a toy for her and dh. We are looking at the wall of dildos and she points to the HUGEST one and whispers to me, the men from my village are all that big and more. I just stared at her, I was thinking: and WHY do you want a dildo?????? Anyway maybe this shrinking thing worries her too.

I have a BA degree in anthropology and took courses in magic and religion, which focused on African withcraft (it is completely different from the Witchcraft that Neopagans practice here and in Europe). African witchcraft is akin to black magic and voudon, which uses a lot of means of psychological control. When a sorcerer tells a victim that his penis has shrunk or is gone completely, he does it in such a way that the victim completely believes the sorcerer and no amount of talking to the victim will change his mind. That kind of magic has an extremely powerful control on people, which is one reason why it is so difficult to combat.

I really enjoyed my anthropology classes, especially the ones on African witchcraft, since it was so different from what I was used to as a Pagan and a Witch myself. I've always found different cultures to be fascinating, especially when they are so different from my own.
