Okay, ladies who have had babies..I've got a question..
Last night, I was watching America's Next Top Model..All of a sudden, I felt like a punching bag..The baby was going nuts..For fifteen minutes it was constant thumping from inside..Thump, thump, thump, thump..Is it normal for it to go on that long? He's still moving today, just not as enthusiastically as last night..Just a minute ago, he started getting all wound up on me and started..Well, there he goes again..*LOL* He's dancing or something..But, is it normal for a baby to move around that excitedly and then it stop and taper off to what he/she normally does?

Yep. Normal.

Did you have something to eat/drink with sugar or caffeine in it prior to the activity? Or were you in a loud room? Babies respond to lots of outside stimuli.

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color.  Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

Is Fanta caffeine-free? I had a glass of Strawberry Fanta..And there wasn't any loud noise..Just me in a quiet living room with the skinny girls fighting over who's prettier and Tyra Banks yelling at them to be tougher and not give up..Gawd, I love that show! *LOL*

Fanta: No caffeine, but a MASSIVE sugar hit.

Also, babies become more active when we're quiet....you see, when we're walking around, our movement sends them to sleep. So when we rest, they tend to wake up. Which is why they can kick us to pieces when we're trying to sleep.

Yup. Very normal. Just wait until there is no space to turn around and they still want to dance the fandango inside!

I heard that that can be murderous! *LOL*

See, I noticed that at clinicals (was in CNA program, just graduated! :)), I couldn't feel him jumping. I got worried. I thought something was wrong..But, in class, he'd go to town every now and then. At night, he'd be clubbing up in that uterus *LOL* I'm glad to know he's a regular Fred Astair! *LOL*

Oh, that was sooooo weird looking! Seeing your belly suddenly jut out on one side as the baby stretches, turns or generally tries moves around, in your last month.

I think they're just stretching and exercising. It's very cramped in there and their little arms and legs are curled around them all the time.

My youngest used to kick the DH in the back whenever he got too close and pressed against my belly in bed! They can keep you awake at night in the last months!

I can hardly wait for him to experience some of what I'm going through, then! *LOL*

I made him feel guilty for opting to take this last trip by telling him you can now feel the baby moving around and kicking when you put your hand on my belly. He sighed and said, "I wish I was there!" ha!
