"penis burn"??

My boyfriend and I usually have sex on a regular basis, but in the past month we have had sex only a handful of times. Granted about a week and a half of the past month we have been apart due to different trips. Now it has been almost two weeks since we have had sex and I asked him the other night if he found me attractive. His suddenly blurted out, "I have penis (he used a different word) burn and want it to heal up before we have sex!!!" I wasn't even talking about sex, he had been acting a bit distant (which was probably me overreacting)over the past few days and I was wanting to know.. anyway, the bottom line is what is "penis burn" and any advice to not come across this in the future??

I don't know what it could be. My first thought was maybe he had been masturbating vigorously without using enough lube one day and inadvertently chaffed his penis - but that certainly wouldn't take two weeks to heal. I don't know what other relatively innocuous condition could be given the name "penis burn" and take two weeks to heal. I've certainly never heard of "penis burn" before and it must be a term that your b/f has made up.
Some guys have done some stupid painful things to their penises (like inserting things into the urethra) in the pursuit of pleasure and novelty so may be's done some damage to it while masturbating?
As tish said, if his penis is literally burning especially when he urinates then it's probably something that isn't so innocuous and he could have an STD. He will need to go to a Doctor and get tested.
I've had thrush before (transferred from my g/f). Which as any woman knows, is uncomfortable and unpleasant but not life threatening, and it made my penis red, tender, stinging, and sore but it was very treatable and not a big deal.
Whatever it is or might be, it sounds like it's time for him to get himself to a Doctor.
