Penis Size Debate

If others have seen my posts on penis size, completely ignore them because I often post when I am frustrated or temporarily insane.

Anyhow, the debate goes on and on, and reflecting on all the archives, it is the same story, but yet everyone can begin the debate all over, like me. Here is my take on it.

Does size matter? Depends. If yes, how much? Depends.

I took a rough survey using the 700 plus posts on the subject and I have come up with really rough numbers that classify 4 types of women. Now, women who dont really care about size because they dont really care too much about sex are not included. I am tempted to not include women who have only had less than 3 partners, but I figured that is too discriminating, although 80% of women now probably do have at least 3 partners, so.....

Anyhow, here is my take

35%(group A) Size doesnt matter in the slightest for all intensive purposes
45%(group B) They "prefer" big enough to feel completely full, but if not, no worries.
15%(group C) They NEED to feel quite full.
5% (group E) size queen (Need to be filled and a whole lot more!)

I dont want to get into semantics about G-spots, hot spots in the vagina, size of vagina, etc. Lets just say that being full means a very snug/tight feeling around the penis for a sufficient "enough" depth. For some, that could be 5x4.5, and for others, 9x7.

Now, men who are insecure (or secure well hung macho-bacho men) will feel that 65% (45+15+5) of women think size is quite important. The insecure men might hear a completely honest woman from group B say, "7.5x5.5 is better(all else equal), but 5.5x4.5 will do just fine", and feel bad about it.

If men are secure, they might feel that 80% (45+35) of women dont care to a significant degree. Among the women who do care, some only need "6x5" to feel full enough anyway.

My numbers are HIGHLY debatable, but ASSUMING they are right, my conclusion is:

Even though size does clearly "matter" for the simple majority, a confident man will find that it only REALLY matters 20% of the time at MOST! This is how I feel personally.

I have a theory about the "size queens" who are always talking about how great a BIG one is.

We are always told that only 20% of women orgasm from penetration. I don't think the numbers are quite that dismal, but they indicate that the majority of women don't orgasm this way. It is highly doubtful that penis size is a significant factor in this, and in fact many women who do orgasm this way indicate that probably an average-sized penis is the best.

So if most women don't orgasm just from the penis, why is size so important?

It isn't.

But, some of these women decide that a BIG one is really important. Who knows why they feel this way? Maybe it's the visual. Maybe it's the "full" feeling they are always talking about ( which is related to girth, anyway). So this is where the 5% of women who are "size queens" and the other 15% who put a lot of importance on size come from.

Well, that's my theory, what do you think?

I would agree with your theory, Taoist. Arousal starts in the brain so if the thought of a big penis is automatically arousing to a particular woman, and her partner has one, then he's already ahead of the game, regardless of how great he is in the sack.

taoist, I would agree with your comments..especially the one about girth...if a guy isnt going to reach the "bottom" with an 8"er what is the difference if its an 8 or a 5?.To most there isnt a difference unless he does hit bottom and most women dont like that anyway. Too much girth for some isnt good and for others, they need it . They/we are all different.By the way, there ARE women that no matter how "ready" or turned on they are still are very shallow in depth.(that was meant to those who think all women are the same depth when properly aroused. Some women can take all of a 9" penis, where some women will struggle with only 5 or 6... I agree with the ones who say the "fit" is the most important thing, be it long or short, thick or thin..again one size does not fit all.

What always amazes me is that it seems to nearly always be some guy with a "small" 7 or 8 inch penis who poses these polls.
I should think that anybody sporting such equipment would seldom ever even think about it.

Probably at times this is true , but at times the guys have a real concern...Just remember there are some guys who measure from the wrong place that think they are 8" when in reality they are probably 5 or 6 if measured correctly.
I do agree that any guy with a true 7" or above has no worries at all in the size dept..In a penis site, it says that a 7" penis is longer than 92% of the men out there.. thats why you hear about 8" or 9" penises out there but actually they are probably shorter than that cause they measure from "underneath" which adds a couple inches ..

A slightly different take on the size debate. Most of the material I've read on stimulating women to orgasm through penetration mentions that it helps a lot to stimulate the clitoris indirectly. The method suggested for doing this is usually for the man to "grind" his pubic bone against the woman's clitoris as he thrusts. It seems like this would be no problem for an average sized man who can penetrate all the way in, but a man who was unusually long would have a much more difficult time as he would "bottom out" without being all the way in. As most women find hitting their cervix to be painful, the really long guy would not be able to provide the indirect slitoral stimulation that an average guy could.

ITA.

I think that a large nice looking one is nice to look at and nice to play with using hands, but more trouble during other activities, especially oral/anal.

I think there's only one real requirement for a penis, that it gets and stays hard.

My wife has had a true 9 incher before.. She said for her, it made even most normal positions tricky, and if he was getting close to orgasm and started to get carried away, it would go too deep and hurt...She found herself being too anxious from anticipating when the deep thrust would come that causes pain, really didnt enjoy sex with him.
