Hi, I've never posted on this board before, but I thought this was appropriate for this board.
Scientific studies seemed to have more objectivity in determining the average length of a man's penis.

Kat, DH is blessed in that area and still he's NEVER boasted about his size...and we don't discuss it. Maybe it's because everything is relative. He realizes that there's bigger than him(he's seen proof of it in porn). I will attest though, to that "look" of pride that I've caught on his face once in a while over the years....but it was more about the fact that it's erect at all, not about it's size. Sort of a "looky what I can do!" ;-)
Ditto on the vulva.
The lifestyles condom company had nurses measure men as they left a night spot...ave was 5.9 in length, and 5.0 in girth.
I agree that many guys will tell the women that they have 8 or 9 inches, but in reality they dont. Many guys will measure from somewhere "down under" and we all know that is incorrect
I agree that surgery is not worth the risk. It's better to keep what you have and be safe rather than taking a risk and end up with something that doesn't work.
But if this is going to set off a red flag to women, then should men see the same type of warnings when a woman gets her breats enlarged?
To speed things along, you might consider dropping trou and asking if she is a "size queen" after the 1st date.
Listen, women have had to deal with the same type of thing forever. Men are now finding out that it isn't quite so fun when the expectations and standards, which are so unrealistic, are also placed on them.
I can't imagine a man ever having a reason to "announce" his size to a woman...and I can't imagine any woman asking. tee hee It just boggles my mind.
"Many guys will measure from somewhere "down under" and we all know that is incorrect"
Not that I care, but if I did....;-).....I can't understand how the bottom underside base doesn't count. If a woman is going to go down on it she's most likely going to take in that extra inch or so...so it should count! tee hee(I'm just playin with ya, Hump)
Get a tee-shirt...."Size Queens need not apply." tee hee or one that says on the front "Nine Inch...." and then on the back "....Nails, of course."(watch their expression).
Maybe we should have a LTAS size poll? Get all the guys on the board here to measure a pre-determined way and start a poll so that they can all vote anonymously? That should give us some interesting statistics.
I vote that we measure from base to tip, bone-pressed method when fully erect, to the nearest 1/2". :-)
I've heard about plenty of studies but this has got to be the first time that I've heard that average is under 5.5". Most studies I've seen tend to put it about 6". Can't say I'm too worried but the discrepancies are interesting. If you were a condom manufacturer you'd want accurate figures.
