over the weekend my bf and i started wondering where the phrase 'giving head' came from...we tried looking it up in a few places but came up with nothing. any thoughts or theories???

ha ha!! yeah, that was our first thought too...but it seemed too easy...

i always wondered if it came from some old english something having to do with pouring a well pulled beer from a tap gives the beer 'good head'...and i wondered if that foamy top of a beer called 'head' became the slang....

Maybe because you're "giving" (servicing) the "head" of his penis, which is the only part of a penis that has much sensitivity.

How about "BJ" which is stranger yet? There's no "blowing" involved, and it's certainly not a "job" in any way, it's a pleasure.
