DH and I started playing with our digital camera a couple of months ago, and now he wants to post some of our pictures on an amateur site that he looks at (with my approval). We did a special set for this that has me wearing a hat that disguises who I am, so i'm not concerned about being recognized. But I am curious--has anyone done this before, and did you regret it, ot did it work out okay?

Sorry, no, never done it.
Are you sure that you can't tell who you are in the pictures? You don't really want them coming back to haunt you. After-all, once those pictures are out there, they're out there forever. You don't want them coming back to haunt you in 20 or 40 years time. What if you break up with the guy? Do you want him showing the pictures to all his friends? How about if he tells people that know you where to find the pictures? Just because a stranger can't identify you that doesn't mean that someone that knows you can't.
I'm all for taking pictures and keeping them within a secure relationship, but I'm not so keen on uploading them to the web. Just the risk of having people that you know getting the website address.....
I wouldn't do it personally. My DH and I have taken pictures and played with the video camera, but the results are for our eyes only.
Once pictures go online, anyone can manipulate them, add people to the shots, put your image in other shots, do all kinds of things with them! Basically, your images will be up for grabs.
