Hello there....I don't blame you for being worried...now I am not familiar with the symtoms you describe, and I would hate to venture a guess...and perhaps others will be along who could better answer your questions....

However, even if there are....I would suggest you make a doctors appointment asap and get this looked at...if it is an infection down there, it could get so bad, and could spread, and there are some types of infections that if left untreated could cause serious damage, and could even cause you to become sterile....I once had a cyst..which is a bit different, but it had gotten so big..that by the time I went to the ER I ended up on the operating table within 2hrs of getting there, and was admitted to the hospital, and the doctor had to dig out all the infection, and even had to scrape my cervix, and he said I literally could have been dead had I waited a couple of more days, as the infection would have spread to my bones...and then my organs....so I don't want to scare you, but get to a doctor right away, you will probibly need antibiotics at the very least, and you also want to know what it is....

When you said that you had blisters I immediately thought of herpes, but you said that you and your BF are an exclusive couple. Get to the doctor ASAP and get this looked at. And make sure that you take all of your medication. Don't stop taking it when you start feeling better. Take the medicine until it is gone, because the infection could come back.

Look, if this was on your face or arm or leg you'd be thinking "Hell's Bells, what IS that? It's nasty." and you'd get to a Doctor and get it checked out without a second thought.

Because it's on your labia you are embarrassed and also concerned about the implication that it may be an STD. You've got to put that embarrassment aside and get it treated. Make a Doctor's appointment and get it seen to! Once it's treated and you know what it actually is THEN you can start worrying about how and where it came from - if you still need to worry at all!

As the other members have already said, you really need to get to a doctor and have this looked at and treated. Whatever advice we can give you here, or whatever predictions we can make about your condition, are only opinions -- not professional ones at that.

This does sound like herpes. If it is, hopefully the doctor will give you all of the information on the virus, and encourage your BF to be tested. If that's the case, you need to know that the virus can lay dormant for a period of time before being passed; some people who carry the virus show no signs or symptoms -- so it could have been in either of your systems long before you became a couple. Cold sores that are on the mouth are also a form of herpes, and can be passed to the genitals during oral sex (the reverse is also true).

If you do learn that you have an STD, here's a message board you might want to visit:

Herpes, HPV and Other STDs

Good luck with your doctors appointment. Keep us posted on how you're doing.

So before you even posted this question last night, you got over-the-counter medication for a yeast infection? Sorry, but that's not a good thing. You're only covering things up.

You really need to get to a doctor. You need correct diagnosis and treatment.

As the other members have already said, you need proper diagnosis for whatever is going on. I've had yeast infections in the past, and I've never had any sort of sores or blisters from it.

Whether or not you or your BF have been with other people isn't important -- getting to the doctor and having this checked is. As I said before, herpes can be passed through the virus that causes cold sores on the mouth. Young children can catch that virus by sharing drinks with their parents, and it can live in their systems for years before they even know they have it! While most herpes viruses are passed when there are active sores, not all are -- so you can catch it without an open sore or evidence of the virus. That's why it's so easily spread -- people do not always know when they carry the virus, and they are not always having an outbreak when it is spread.

You came here for advice. The members have tried their best to let you know you really, really need to see a doctor about this. I hope you don't delay your visit, as this is very important.
