Oh my am I boring. It was when I me Dr. Jerry Sattler at a School Psychology Convention. I know you're saying, who the hel. is he? Well he wrote the book on statistics. I mean litterally, he was there selling his newest book. Which I bought and he autographed, LOL. To me it was like meeting a rock star. I can still see him, older than me, jeans and a t-shirt, gray hair and beard, and SO high energy. Oh, and to me, hick that I am, so urbane. I remember saying, "Dr. Sattler, I can't express what an honor it is to meet you." And he said, "My dear, believe me the pleasure is all mine."
One of my favorite encounters in life was when ... i was younger (and totally into hockey) and met my absolute favorite hockey player. i remember how excited i was on that day (my bday) and my dad took our picture and at the last possible second i threw my arms around him. lol
My answer isn't just 1 encounter but a certain vacation we took in Oct 05'. We went to Hawaii, my mom's then BF now Hubby was stationed over there and had been there a while so he knew the island very well. So we got to go alot of places that are not your typical "tourist" places. The whole experience was just magical. I really can't even put into words how it made me feel. That was definitly one the best things that I have ever done and will be for the rest of my life!
was when I got to meet my second mother. Well, she is like a second mom to me and I can go to her for just about anything and everything. I went to high school w/her son and he and I are good friends. He is very blessed to have such a wonderful mother, and I don't just think of her as a second mother, but I also think of her as one of my best friends :-)

I can't think of any.
...I met my wife. I took one look in her eyes and thought to myself 'I'm gonna marry that woman.' A long time later, I did, and I couldn't be happier.
I seen what I wanted, and I took it. Like a caged tiger on benzedrine ;)

<Thanks! (I think) :P I know, I know, my use of dangling participles and improper grammar is wrong, but be aware that I am aware of what I do! hehehe
I write like I speak most generally. It just depends on my audience I reckon. Can ya' tell I'm a southern boy? :P
