Question about sex and getting pregnant.

Hi guys! My b/f and I had sex lastnight at his house and the condom broke. I'm on Alesse birth control and I'm wondering can I still get pregnant even though I'm on the pill? I heard it was 100% effective, but I'm wondering.

If you're still really concerned.. I know the feeling I've been there before. You can always got to your
local drugstore and pick up "Plan B". It's an emergency thing you can take that just in case those little sperm were effective.. I don't know else to say that.. but it'll "abort" whatever is trying to start. That may not have made ANY sense but I think you'll get the picture. Man I suck at explaining myself. Sorry. But that's the next best thing you can do. Go to drugstore.. Pick up Plan B.. Take it.. You'll be fine.
The pill is 99% effective when used properly, taken the same time daily, not skipping any doses.
If you're consistent about taking your birth control pills, and you've been on them for more than a month, you should be fine as far as pregnancy goes. If you're using condoms for safety from STDs, they could have spread when the condom broke.
I was on the pill for years when I was younger. I took it like clockwork, and never used any other form of birth control. Never any accidents, never any pregnancies. While the Plan B is available now, I think you should feel confident if you've taken your pills properly.
