Question for all Women about Sex

I have a question for all women and would appreciate as many responses as possible. Assuming everything is lubricated, is sex ever uncomfortable, even the slightest bit for you? Or the majority of the time it isn't? The reason why I ask is this. For as long as I can remember, sex has always been uncomfortable for me. Not painful, but unpleasant, like there is a certain spot inside me that generally gets rubbed and doesn't feel that good. I can be extremely wet and doesn't make a difference. It doesn't matter if he is inside me or if I use something as small as a finger. I have been on birth control for the past couple of years, but this has been ever since I started being active, 8 years ago. I like to and want to be an active sex partner, but sex isn't 100% enjoyable for me. I always want him to go fast so it doesn't go for a long period of time because of this.
Thanks for your responses and time.

Welcome to the board, Caitlin.
I'm sorry to hear your dealing with this. Sex shouldn't be painful ... and if you're having this uncomfortableness, you really should discuss it with your gyn. There can be medical reasons why it occurs, or you can psych yourself out because you have felt pain in the past.
