Hi everyone,

Im new on this board,

I was wondering if you guys can recomend me a good non irritating lub. I have found that soon after my period I get dry and sex hurt if we dont use some type of lubrication. Most of the things we,ve tried are too irritating. We tried Astroglide and it burns both of us. Has this happened to any of you?? I was thinking about using Vaseline but Im afraid it will irritate me too. Im on birth control so it doesnt matter if its a water based lub or not because I dont have to worry about condom breakage.

Please any sogestions on non irritating lubricants that can work on both of us will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

I have a lubricant called Sylk, which is made from Kiwifruit extract, and is a New Zealand product available in a number of countries. No artificial chemicals or parabens. I used it for day to day use when I had vaginal dryness (and intend to start using again soon, because condoms dry me out too much), and found it quite soothing. A little bit seems to go a long way. You can check it out at sylkonline.com

I agree the cups are great -- definitely worth giving a try. Because of the way they need to sit inside of you, you may have to experiment a bit to get the placement correct. Because of that, I recommend trying them for the first time when you actually have a fairly heavy flow. That way you know quickly if you have them inserted properly.
