Hello everyone! I'm going on a cruise to the Bahamas with my "special male friend", and would be very appreciative to any suggestions to help make this cruise unforgettable for him! I have a few ideas of my own, but would love to have other ideas to work with. This is his first cruise, and I want everything to be perfect for him. He's very excited about going. For the record, this won't be our "first" time, but I guess in a way, I want him to feel like it's our first time together! (SMILE)

Thanks in advance!

To be perfectly honest, I believe that a cruise would be memorable in it's own right - and that you shouldn't have to add anything to the mix except for being a delightful travelling partner.

aisha2004, you're right, a cruise just in it's self will be something memorable. I know I don't have to "add" anything to it because I know he's going to enjoy the cruise, but I just wanted to spice up the "fun" in the bedroom. (cabin)

Well, a cruise is sensory overload. There are so many things to do and see on the ship that you can almost forget what you went on the cruise for...romantic time with your special guy.

Make sure that you set aside at least one night to spend alone in your cabin or stateroom. Arrange to have dinner in your room complete with champagne, candles, etc. You can arrange that once on board.

Take advantage of the hot tubs late at night and engage in some foreplay before heading off to your cabin for the night. People are in the nightclubs, etc. so you should be able to sneak off and have one all to yourself!

My DH and I went on a Caribbean cruise last Sept. and we learned quickly to budget our time. You can blow through 2-3 days easily doing activities onboard or in port and socializing. Take some special lingerie and some special toys and have fun! What happens on a cruise, STAYS on a cruise!

I think just being there together in such a pampering and exciting setting will be all you need to make it enjoyable. However, maybe what you do is plan on making it a memorable "return home" for him, lol! Perhaps something special for after you get back maybe?, something that'll make him still feel like the special time together isn't just on a cruise only.

One thing the Mrs. & I discovered when we went was to not set our expectations too high. If you plan something special in particular, then allow him to enjoy and react the way he will and don't get too disappointed if his reaction isn't what you hoped. Again, just saying that out of experience.

Hope you have as good o' time as did! :D

Ah ha. Well, in that case, you may want to pay for an upgrade.

Seriously.

Sure, the standard rooms are OK for a lust filled encounter with a relative stranger ...but from my experiences, the tiny beds and lack of room don't make for romantic encounters. I really don't imagine that you will have many options if you are in standard quarters.

Enjoy the cruise, have lots of R&R, but don't put too many hopes on romance. You'll likely find that a quick shag and a nap after lunch will probably be more do-able than love-making. Also, don't forget that as Kat mentioned, you'll be having trouble finding time with all the on board activities. And you may also be dealing with sea sickness, hangovers, bloating from over indulging on the yummy food.......

Don't make plans....just let it unfold naturally and have a great time.

You're so right. There are so many things to see and do on the ship, not to mention all the things to see and do once you get off the ship. (I went on a cruise in Oct.2003, and it was like paradise. I had a great time)

I had already planned to have the dinner with the champagne, candles, romantic music, and ofcourse the lingerie!! I had also planned on doing a little singing for him.

Thanks for the idea of the late night hot tub. I like that! We'll have to take advantage of that.

You really do have to budget your time on a cruise because there's just sooooo much to do, that the days, and time just zooms right on by so quickly.

I went on the cruise with my mom, my uncle, and his girlfriend, and it was so much fun. It was our first time. We met 2 couples, a young lady, and a mother, and daughter. To this day we remain friends, and still keep in touch with each other. Everybody was so nice, and friendly. The staff was wonderful too. We had no complaints. How was your cruise?

A cruise is very exciting, and believe me, they really do "pamper" you! That's a nice idea of planning a special "return home". Everytime we are together, I always try to make it a special time. He's a wonderful guy, and he deserves it!

He's already suspicious (but in a good way ofcourse) that I'm planning something extra to make this cruise "extra" special. I can almost expect how he'll react to the extra planning I have in mind. HE'LL **LOVE** IT!! I won't be disappointed, that's for sure! I'll be on cloud 25!! Ha,Ha!!

Thanks for your help!

niki376, I like your style! Not only do I plan on waking him up with some good old "oral" early in the morning, but I might even wake him 1 or 2 times during the night!!!!

Thanks!

I know, the beds, and the rooms are rather small. I'll have to check the prices for an upgrade. Thank-you.

Thank goodness I don't get seasick, won't have any hangovers (We're not big drinkers), we'll probably be "bloated" from indulging on all the good food. We'll make time (quite a bit) for love making!! I can hardly wait!

Thanks again for your advice.
