So, ok. I wouldn't consider myself fat or anything, but I am a tall girl(5'8") and I have a little extra baggage, but it's not excessive at all. I consider myself a curvy, athletic girl ;). My boyfriend, on the other hand, is tall and very lean. He is a runner and a cyclist. So, to get to the point, I definitely weigh more than him. So, any of you know of good positions that we could utilize? We haven't had a problem regarding the weight thing..but sometimes I feel a little weird being on top although I know i'm not crushing him. But I know there are positions that we definitely could not do considering the situation. Any ideas?! Thanks a bunch!

I am overweight and weigh more than my DH and I always used to worry about smooshing him, but he said I don't feel heavy at all. We do lots of different positions. I wouldn't worry about it. I am sure you're not crushing him. :)

I don't think you should worry about it. If you're both okay with your size differences, then it doesn't matter. Experiment and enjoy ALL positions.

Hmm really? What about standing up positions? I'm just thinking of the ones where the man has to support the woman's body weight. I think I read too much of that kama sutra in cosmopolitan..lol

Well, we don't do anything where he is holding me up completely. I am sure he could briefly, but I don't think it would be very comfortable for either of us. I am a lot shorter than him, so my "area" LOL is a lot lower. We do things like where we stand in the shower and I bend over a little and we have sex that way. I know lots of thin people that say they want nothing to do with having sex where the guy is holding the women with no support from a chair or anything. They say at first it's ok, but then they get more tired. If you want to try it though, then go ahead. If he's not strong enough to hold you for very long, it's no big deal. There are tons of other fun things you can do. :)

Thanks. I was jsut curious to see how other people think about this. I know it's a random topic...but I guess I was kind of weirded out at first because my boyfriend is soooo skinney!!!!!! He is definitely a lot leaner than the average man. I don't know why I felt odd about it...but i don't really anymore. He doesn't care, so i don't!

My DH is about 5'9" and about 175. I weigh around 50 lbs more and we have never had a problem in our sex life, even through my first pregnancy and this one. :)

That's awesome. I'm glad that everything's worked out for you. I guess I just need to grow up and develop more confidence! My boyfriend is 5'11" and about 160 lbs!!!! I weigh probably 30 lbs more than him right now. But I used to be his weight! Ah, gotta love the weight that college gives you ;)

IF you want to try standing, get a good step stool. We use one for doggie sometimes. My DH is a lot taller than I am as well.

Hello! My DH and I are about the same way. He is 6' and is about 165 pounds and I am 5'11" and well I am 180 pounds. We just had twins 1 year ago and I still have not lost all my weight. Any way, I have always weighed a little more than him and we have never in 16 years had a problem with positions. I think we have done it almost every way! I wouldn't worry about it, do what works for you and him!
