Sex..What is it? No sex in 4 years

We have been married over 9 years, are blessed with twins over 3+ years, but have not ben sexual from the time we were pregnant.
Romance is truly replaced by being a "Mom" and "Dad" all the time. Considering the fact we both are professionals with 2 high-stressed jobs it's not easier.
At times it's reflecting in our personal emotions..
Are we the only couple having such unusual life?
Need help/

Well, you aren't the only couple that has kids, careers, have
I agree with Tish......you were husband and wife long before you were Mom and Dad. With any luck, you will still be husband and wife when the twins are grown and gone! If you don't get your priorities straight, what will you have then? Two strangers! Two people who don't even know each other anymore, and have nothing to talk about with each other.
Also, how do you think your children will learn how to be loving partners some day? By example, that's how. Don't let them grow up seeing the two most important people in their lives treating each other like room mates, or even worse, strangers!
Everyone in the world has stress, stressful jobs, etc. If you value your marriage, then you will make time for each other. You make time for business meetings, then make some time for your marriage! Your career can't keep you warm at night!
You two need to discuss what's going on, and what's NOT going on...and work out some way of having some time alone, to get to know each other again. Your situation is a prime breeding ground for cheating spouses. Every human being needs someone to love, and someone to make them feel special. If it's not happening at home, it will look very tempting outside the marriage. Ask anyone who's cheating.....it's not for the sex, it's because of the need to feel like someone puts you FIRST in life.
In a good marriage, sex is just as important as food....it's a way of being close and sharing intimacy. It's obvious by your title that you miss it, and I'll bet he does too!
Start talking, and start working out ways to get back to being husband and wife! Good Luck!
