Shave or Not Down there?

Hi, This is my first time posting a question on this board. I have read many of the topics on this board. I just want to know if men like there women to shave/trim down there, and is it completely shave, or leave some hair. I haven't had intercourse or oral, and I don't want to scare my partner by having a lot of hair down there, if he has been with women with less hair down there. He might be okay with hair down there, but I know in my head I will be self consciece about it, and it might ruin the experience, which I don't want. So what is the norm?
Thanks

" Are some women that needy that they feel they have to do whatever the man wants to get a man and be accepted?"

Yes. Apparently.

There was a recent post on Dr Ruth's board where a girl asked if the hair on her b/f's scrotum was normal! She'd only ever seen images of shaved ones before.

I think it's really sad when people don't even know what's normal anymore.

Wooow aisha, that last post was very powerful. Great reference to the Dr. Ruth board. Apparently many people don't even know enough about the human body to know what is normal anymore.

YES, there are those who view hair as unclean for whatever reason, but they do NOT represent the rest who don't. That was my main point. Just because a couple of posters here or there say something contraversial like that doesn't signify that "shavers" are , lol, thats pretty much what I was getting at.

Regarding why young men and women shave when they simply don't like the work involved, I guess that comes down to the same reason that you women shave your legs or wear make-up or go through all that hairdo or why we men bother to shave our faces or why caucasians tan even until getting sunburnt...and on and on and on and on of course, LOL.

I don't know WHY people do the different things they do, but what hits me even is WHY people get so hung up on what others choose to do. THAT is the mystery to anyway. ;)

I think the problem of why others get hung up on what others do occurs when so many others overwhelmingly start to dictate what should be "normal" in society. To me its a problem when people start to push shaving(both guys and girls) on others based on a theory that "no one likes hair", or "eww its gross", or "its not clean", "it will smell", etc. I'm hung up on the fact that so many people have jumped on the band wagon to shave that area because others tell them its the right thing to do or "guys won't like you with hair down there". It drives me nuts because i'm a guy who actually appreciates a girl with hair in that area and it seems like the majority of people are against me. Believe me, i've been attacked by friends over this topic on multiple occassions. I've been told so many times how bad pubic hair is that it makes me sick!!!!!!!!! The perceptions out there are totally unfounded and frankly ridiculous. The problem occurs when everyone buys into the B.S. and jumps on that band wagon. My statements in the past about my perceptions of people that shave; that they are pre-pubescent looking, not adult, something missing, etc. are simply the reasons why i as an individual do not like the shaved look. Its simply not attractive to me. I'm trying to be a voice that says yes, having hair in that area is ok!!!!!!! I'm not telling them that its better, that its cleaner, etc. like some of those who are so anti-hair it hurts (the propaganda machine)....lol
