hey
do guys really like it when girls shave everything completely off "down there"- i'm kind of impartial. Sometimes i shave it all off, sometimes i don't. I don't have a favorite. but the guy i've been dating, i've had a little bit of hair down there (haven't shaved the entire thing) and i was thinking about shaving it all off... guys dig that right?
or should i wait and ask him?

Shave? WAX it!!!!! Shaving is horrible for you anywhere on your body. Do you shave your eyebrows? It grows back the next day, what's the point to going to all the trouble. I have my arms, legs, bikini and I go for the Brazillian only once per month. The Brazillian can be done where they leave a "bacon strip" of hair or they can take it all off, including around the anus. You will NEVER have to shave it again and it grows back finer and in patches so when you go in for your "touch up" it only takes a few minutes to wax off the new growth. I am a WIMP and I felt no pain, it's quick and worth every single moment and penny. I have no stubble and it's been a month, just whispy soft hairs that I need to get waxed pretty soon here. Try it, you will be addicted! Your DH will love it.

Everyone is different, we all have our own personal preferences, differing pain threshholds, and not everyone believes that shaving is horrible. Speak to your OWN experience, and leave it at that.

Too true.

What the Mrs. decides is a part of why I like her individually unique personality, as opposed to liking her more because her choices happen to fit the way I want.

Well said, and please don't be a stranger. :)

Madame K, you may find this really hard to believe - but I was not asking for advice. I'm quite happy with my own decisions thank you very much.

And for the record, when I wax my pubic area, it grows back within a week. Also, I get great red, pus filled lumps that take months to go away. I somehow don't think that my DH would find this an attractive look.

Not only that, but here in Australia, a Brazillian can cost around $50-$60!! I don't have that much money to waste on a procedure that I don't require and doesn't interest me.

What wonderful responses katmandoo2001. I totally agree with your responses! I am one of those three guys who disagree with that "most guys like it shaved" comment. And you are right on with your response regarding soap and water. MOST PEOPLE WASH!!! so hair should not be an issue regarding cleanliness. I love hair down there and will never change my mind about that because alot of people like to generalize and say that "most guys" like it shaved (hence making me sound like someone who is odd or not with everybody).

People speaking about what "most guys" like is what got me to post that shaving preferences thread months ago. Its people attempting to speak for everyone that makes those of us who disagree wierd or non-conformists. I cant stand it when people try to speak for me. When someone tells a girl that "most guys" want it shaved all off I wouldnt be suprised if the girl listens (and thats why sooo many girls are now shaved). The percentage of girls who are hairless down there i can asure you all is much greater today than it was 15 years back. Why???????? Maybe its because there are guys out there making blanket statements about what "most guys" like. Well I'm not "most guys" then!!!! I am very annoyed at this point.

Wait and ask him. If he doesn't like it, you don't want to turn him off! Most guys like less hair.

>>Most guys like less hair.<<

AAAARGH!!! Have you even READ the threads by the men here who either like pubic hair or don't care either way? No wonder they are getting so mad with frustration.

If a man got turned off because I have pubic hair, then he wouldn't be worth wasting my time on. If having pubic hair is a deal breaker for him - then it's obvious that he's only in it for sex.

"Most guys like less hair." No, some men actually like MORE hair. Imagine that? Flyguy?
