Hi.

I'm new here and have been reading you for the past few weeks. I've been on the pill (Alesse 28) since Sunday night.

I've been with my current boyfriend for about 4 months and we never had sex. However, we enjoy touching each other. I was sleeping at his house the other night (Saturday) and we decided to take a shower together the next morning (Sunday morning). One thing led to another I gave him a hand job in the shower. Usually, we do that in bed and I'm not totally naked as I was in the shower (duh!).

Anyway, my question is : I was not on the pill yet and he wasn't wearing a condom. He ejaculated to an opposite direction than I was. I was excited... Do you think there is a risk for pregnancy or anything? With the water and all? I'm a virgin (20yrs old) and I don't want to be laughed at by a friend or else.

Thank you.

You said the "opposite direction", what I am wondering is what happened after? I don't want to make you think anything, but 1 of our kids came about kinda like that.... a couple of big differences tho~ we were in bed and after he ejaculated on the sheets he went inside me, and whoops!! Found out PG a couple of months later. At the same time, please know, we are the fertile-mertles of the universe!! For us, especially that time it literally "only takes 1" ;)

Well... he showered a bit and exited. I stayed in a few more minutes and dryed myself afterwards with a different towel.

Thank you for your answers.

I think you're safe. His semen would have had to come in direct contact with at least your vulva for sperm to have any chance of making it's way up the vaginal canal.

If it didn't hit your body and run down that way, or you didn't transfer it to your genitals with your hand, not much chance of becoming pregnant.

Although, women have gotten pregnant without penetration though.

To me it would seem the your chances of getting pregnant under the circumstances you desdribe would be close to zero. The water would have quickly washed the sperm that was aimed away from your body down the drain. you were also wise to not dry up with the same towel that he used.
