FWIW, I have seen a lot of penii and measured a few of the bigger ones and all I would say is that there is a ton of exaggeration -- an honest 7 incher, if proportionately thick, is a very big penis. Much bigger than that and many smaller women like me would simply hate penetrative sex -- even ones that big feel like they are rearranging my organs.
Just a nice note here .. the correct plural form of penis ... is penises not penii (I think penes is acceptable too but not sure). The word penii just bothers me for some reason lol. I noticed that the word penii seemed to be picked up by others too. I hope they read this.
I wondered why I had never heard of the word penii until the other day! I just visited Urban Dictionary, and here's what it had to say for the word penii:
A word made up by people uneducated in the ways of etymology. NOT THE PLURAL OF PENIS.
The rule with a plural form with an I is derived from latin and is only applicable when the word ends in -US, and has no relevance whatsoever when the word ends in -IS.
When a word ends in -IS, the correct plural form is, in fact, -ISES.
It also gave some examples of correct usage for some plurals.
Lol. This is funny! I have only had two penii/penises in my life. One really mild-mannered small one and a crazy-as-hell big one. Both belonging to very very nice guys, both graduates of Yale University, who simply could *not* be more different. How I am attracted to such total opposites is beyond me.
I beg to differ with the Urban Dictionary. While Penises is clearly the common tem, with some latin scholars preferring penes, penii is an entertaining alternative in the same sense that one might refer to several men in white rhinestone encrusted jumpsuits as Elvii.
Lack of education has absolutely nothing to do with it.
