Slut in the bedroom??

A man on another post said that all men want a slut in the bedroom. I've always heard this growing up too. Isn't a slut a woman who is dirty and services men? The dictionary definition is:

A woman considered sexually promiscuous.

A woman prostitute.

A slovenly woman; a slattern

All negative, IMO.

I love and enjoy sex to it's fullest potential. Considering the fact that this is the twenty-first century, I think that it's about over due that we come up with a better associated word other than "slut" for a women who enjoys sex(particularly sex within a monogomous relationship). It's very offensive that women who enjoy sex are compared with a person who has little or no self-respect and who is most likely not respected by the men she's having sex with.

Additionally, not all women have to act like sluts(servicing men). I believe that a woman can be extremely sexy and sexual just by being themselves. Which may be the furthest thing from being slutty. It may be she has a sweet, natural, demeaner.

I feel exactly the same way and although I keep reading the new posts, that is why I have not continued to argue my point of view. We could all continue to say this and that and the other and would still not get anywhere. We would and are, going in circles trying to get everyone to see things from the same point of view as we see them and that just is not going to work. Continually saying things like <>, <>, and <> and everyone else's point of view is NOT going to change someone else's mind AT ALL. Probably will only open their mind up as to why you see it whatever way you do. Big deal, get over yourself (not anyone in particluar) and see that not everyone can agree with everyone, no matter how much we "beat the subject to death." I am sorry if I offended anyone, I just see it pointless for everyone to keep argueing thier POV, when it is obvious what other people think and feel about whatever words and phrases have been mentioned here AND THEY ARE NOT BUDGING TO CHANGE THEIR MINDS.

I wasn't trying to change anyone's POV, I was simply trying to show that there IS another POV. tee hee ...or there isn't only one way to slice it, as some seem to believe(and still do).

That's what the word means to ME. It's not a term of affection or endearment in the bedroom or out. It was created as an insult and always has been.

If you and your SO choose to define it another way, that's up to you, doesn't mean that I must agree that it's appropriate though. But you can call a dog a CAT all day long and it will still be a dog. In the bedroom or out. 'Nuff said on the subject.

>>You are talking like everyone needs to read the dictionary in order to understand the words that are coming out of our own mouths. <<

You know the gfirst thing that popped into my head when I read that was Chris Tucker in Rush Hour saying "Do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?" ROFL.

If "slut" is derogatory, the n how about " a woman greedy for pleasure". I think thats what men want.

I saw something yesterday that made me think of this thread. Ahead of us in our lane were two bikers, a woman and a man. I was looking at the man's helmet because I thought I saw a small pic of a pair of boobs. I did, and on the sticker next to the boobs said set those puppies free LOL. So I looked at the woman's helmet to see what stickers she had, and the one across the back said sometimes you feel like a slut, sometimes you don't ROFL.

Thanks tish. I had a great weekend. Took my Daughter to see Shrek 2, and just about left in the middle of it. If she were much older I would have. To much crude sexual humor in the movie. But it was still a good time. Had a great BBQ and made an awesome Porterhouse steak. It was a great weekend, over all. How about yours? I am definately a horn dog, but I have a few other choice phrazes for myself. LOL No, Just kidding. Anyway, Horn dog, and nasty boy sound pretty good to me, so what the hey, right?
