Slut in the bedroom??

A man on another post said that all men want a slut in the bedroom. I've always heard this growing up too. Isn't a slut a woman who is dirty and services men? The dictionary definition is:

A woman considered sexually promiscuous.

A woman prostitute.

A slovenly woman; a slattern

All negative, IMO.

I love and enjoy sex to it's fullest potential. Considering the fact that this is the twenty-first century, I think that it's about over due that we come up with a better associated word other than "slut" for a women who enjoys sex(particularly sex within a monogomous relationship). It's very offensive that women who enjoy sex are compared with a person who has little or no self-respect and who is most likely not respected by the men she's having sex with.

Additionally, not all women have to act like sluts(servicing men). I believe that a woman can be extremely sexy and sexual just by being themselves. Which may be the furthest thing from being slutty. It may be she has a sweet, natural, demeaner.

I totally agree. I am on the outside a pretty innocent looking woman, but I have a wild side that comes out. DH loves to call me his nasty little girl or his little whore while we're having sex. Sometimes, he'll look at me while we're just in the living room and say, "you're so nasty, aren't you?" and it turns me on because of HOW he says it. It isn't that he means I'm funky or gross, but I'm dirty in the bedroom and he likes that.

Nothing harmful about that.

Maybe it's because I was good for so long, but I sure like being a little whore. I think most people would be shocked because I seem so reserved, but close the doors and I get pretty raunchy. I also like hearing what he wants to do to my c***. Nothing phases me I think LOL.

My opinion is ..... it's a word, a slang word and it can be taken how ever you want it to be taken and depending on "how" it is used.

My SO calls me his 'little sex godess'. Its implication is "supernatural". LOL

You see, the implication that a woman is a "freak" if she enjoys sex and is unihibited, or she's a "slut" or a "whore" or whatever. Makes it sound as though it's 'abnormal.' Let the NEW standard 'norm' terms connote positive nature not negative. Women have come out sexually, and it's no longer just the "whores" and the "sluts" who take the reins in good sex. Why not give the sluts something to aspire to, instead of the other way around. LOL

Whatever. I don't take any of those terms in a negative way. Depends on the situation, the person saying it. I've never been called a freak, whore, slut or whatever else, but I know how men talk amongst themselves and I don't really care. I only care about making sure my hubby is satisfied. If being a wild woman in the bedroom is what it takes, then by all means, go for it.

>>You see, the implication that a woman is a "freak" if she enjoys sex and is unihibited, or she's a "slut" or a "whore" or whatever. Makes it sound as though it's 'abnormal.'<<

I disagree. That has never been my experience, except in high school. That was the only time slut was ever really used negatively. As an adult, slut is completely different. It's just perception.

>>Let the NEW standard 'norm' terms connote positive nature not negative. Women have come out sexually, and it's no longer just the "whores" and the "sluts" who take the reins in good sex.<<

But it isn't negative for everyone. If you feel it is negative, then change things for yourself and let those around you know that you prefer it not used in your presence. That doesn't mean try and change the populous to fit your way of thinking.

>>Why not give the sluts something to aspire to, instead of the other way around. LOL<<

Why? If someone is happy with their life, why change it because of how you feel?

Actually, this thread was inspired by another thread from a woman who "felt" slutty, because she was comparing herself to porn stars or sluts. Of course, she's neither. Just a woman who was giving her SO a BJ. When he looked at her while she did it, it made HER feel that way.

And I disagree. I know that many men love calling their partner's by those names and some women like it and some don't. I don't.
