Slut in the bedroom??

A man on another post said that all men want a slut in the bedroom. I've always heard this growing up too. Isn't a slut a woman who is dirty and services men? The dictionary definition is:

A woman considered sexually promiscuous.

A woman prostitute.

A slovenly woman; a slattern

All negative, IMO.

I love and enjoy sex to it's fullest potential. Considering the fact that this is the twenty-first century, I think that it's about over due that we come up with a better associated word other than "slut" for a women who enjoys sex(particularly sex within a monogomous relationship). It's very offensive that women who enjoy sex are compared with a person who has little or no self-respect and who is most likely not respected by the men she's having sex with.

Additionally, not all women have to act like sluts(servicing men). I believe that a woman can be extremely sexy and sexual just by being themselves. Which may be the furthest thing from being slutty. It may be she has a sweet, natural, demeaner.

Many men call their wives and partners slut and whore? Wow. I've never know any men to call their partner that. The most I hear is "baby" "sweetie" "punkin" - just sweet little names. I think I'd gasp aloud if one of the men said "Hey whore" ... (and believe me, they could too since that is what a couple of them actually do for their line of work, lol).

I just think that being a wild woman in the bedroom shouldn't be compared to a slut or whore. Unfortunately, there's no other words. LOL

What part of my post are you responding to? And you are talking about how a look affected her, not the word slut.

That's not my style. I'm not a little girl, I am a woman. During sex, leave the sweetie's at the door lol.

Of course there are, how about "Woman?" My DH says that he had some experiences with girls but knew when he was with a WOMAN. LOL!

Oh, it's so commonsensical! Why are WOMEN even rated sexually by labels, and men usually aren't?

My hubby has never called me a slut in or out of the bedroom. I think I would be crushed. He talks dirty, but calling me a derogatory name isn't part of his dirty talk to me at least. Now get him talking about certain body parts and the slang does fly. But that is dirty talk afterall. JMHO though.

True that. Maybe we could all think of a couple of names that could subsitute slut and whore. Any takers?

WOMAN - too generalized, too tame - we need something a little wild, but without the negativity as in slut/whore.
