Slut in the bedroom??

A man on another post said that all men want a slut in the bedroom. I've always heard this growing up too. Isn't a slut a woman who is dirty and services men? The dictionary definition is:

A woman considered sexually promiscuous.

A woman prostitute.

A slovenly woman; a slattern

All negative, IMO.

I love and enjoy sex to it's fullest potential. Considering the fact that this is the twenty-first century, I think that it's about over due that we come up with a better associated word other than "slut" for a women who enjoys sex(particularly sex within a monogomous relationship). It's very offensive that women who enjoy sex are compared with a person who has little or no self-respect and who is most likely not respected by the men she's having sex with.

Additionally, not all women have to act like sluts(servicing men). I believe that a woman can be extremely sexy and sexual just by being themselves. Which may be the furthest thing from being slutty. It may be she has a sweet, natural, demeaner.

I was referring to the fact that she even compared herself. It's probably a subconscious thing for many women, but for her it was apparent. She was comparing herself to a slut or porn stars. Why? She's a woman having sex with a partner. Or in other words, she was classifying herself.

You missed the point. Women are sexual. They shouldn't be classified. Men aren't.

Men are classified as "Sugar Daddy's", "Pimps" and "Backdoor Men" for no reason sometimes - just people assuming. It's not just women.

I've always taken that term "freak in the bedroom" or "whore in the bedroom" - whichever just means she's wild and fun in bed and likes to explore. Not cold and complaining about not being in the mood. In other words - not just "vanilla" sex, lol.

None of those are classifications of their personal sexuality.

I'm not sure what that has to do with what I said/ From what she wrote, I understood it as her classifying porn stars as sluts, and she was worried about resembling them because to *her* slut has a negative connotation. My point is that we all seem to have different defintions of slut. Look at how many post here asking if their behavior is slutty. I think the IS no clear definition of it. Men DO get classified. I see it said over and over here how women are stuck with this or that label while men do what they want freely without labels. NOT true. I think if you want people to stop using slut negatively, fine, I would like that too. But I see no reason not to own it and use it much like peple do with the B word.

If you label a man either of those, it says NOTHING about how well they perform in bed. LOL

Sugar Daddy: A wealthy, usually older man who gives expensive gifts to a young person in return for sexual favors or companionship.

Pimp: One who finds customers for a prostitute; a procurer.

Backdoor men: Never heard of it. LOL

Slut doesn't refer to how a woman perform's in bed either. It has to do with inhibitions. If it's a label you don't like, then don't use it.

OK. Any woman who is uninhibited is a slut. Got it!
