Slut in the bedroom??

A man on another post said that all men want a slut in the bedroom. I've always heard this growing up too. Isn't a slut a woman who is dirty and services men? The dictionary definition is:

A woman considered sexually promiscuous.

A woman prostitute.

A slovenly woman; a slattern

All negative, IMO.

I love and enjoy sex to it's fullest potential. Considering the fact that this is the twenty-first century, I think that it's about over due that we come up with a better associated word other than "slut" for a women who enjoys sex(particularly sex within a monogomous relationship). It's very offensive that women who enjoy sex are compared with a person who has little or no self-respect and who is most likely not respected by the men she's having sex with.

Additionally, not all women have to act like sluts(servicing men). I believe that a woman can be extremely sexy and sexual just by being themselves. Which may be the furthest thing from being slutty. It may be she has a sweet, natural, demeaner.

"A slut in the bedroom is not the same thing as a SLUT." Huh? Sorry, Jeep, but you need to get your dictionary out again, the ONLY definition of the word is a negative one, there is no other.

IF your partner is fine with the word, then great for you, but there are many of us who wouldn't appreciate it being used in the bedroom or out.

Slut, slut, slut, slut. No one can call me a slut, except for me! tee hee. My DH has never referred to me as a slut or slutty. He's always told me how much he loves my sexual style...it's all my own. Sometimes he calls me his wildcat, and sometimes his pussycat, but never slutty. I see your point, and I agree.

Many words are used in slang whose definitions are not in the dictionary. It's all in how you use them. I don't know if you watch Friend's, but there was an episode where Joey made the phrase Grandma's Chicken Salad sound dirty LOL.

Getting over my yawns briefly.

The rest of the world is probably familiar with the Australian expression "mate".

Yes, I'm all too aware of that. And I don't like hearing guys referring to their GF's as "my ho or my bitch" either. It's demeaning to everyone around them who doesn't agree with using those words in that way, IMO. I think crudeness and vulgarity have become a way of life in our country.

Okay, I'm off my soapbox now. LOL!
