Something really wonderful

I hope that everyone had a really great 4th of July! I had a turn of events that I wanted to share with you all as I feel like you are like an extended family to me. I was at my parents house on the 3rd & working on my dad’s computer when he broke down & told me I had a brother & sister I had previously not known about. It was quite shocking & though I was a little upset, I felt bad for him that he had carried this secret for so many years, you could feel & see the relief as he recounted the story of his past to me. The bad thing is that my sister was killed quite a few years ago, but the great news was that I got in touch with my brother the next day & we are laying plans to get together & start catching up on so many years lost. On the one hand I am so overwhelmed, my world has changed so much, you think you are the oldest, that you know the number of your family… and then all that changes. On the other hand, here is a family member that I will be able to rely on, to share with and call my brother. It is a really wonderful thing that has happened & I will keep you posted on how things grow from here.
